Hi again. Like the looks of the cobra seen from below. The back box looks a lot smaller than i imagined though. Still it,s the sound i,m after. nobody looks underneath the car unless i,ve ran them over ! Question / does the y pipe make any improvement to sound or performance ? next planned upgrade to the zorst. cheers rog... mrt

Amazing result Ian. I will be going on your list as soon as funds permit. New Cobra going on this weekend and Rays refurb next. What about refurbing the stock gear knob. Seen a lot of grubby ones about and not everyone wants the aftermarket type. mrt

Sounds pricey but the mileage is a good selling point. I paid a little under 9k for my 05 uk gt pack roadster with just 13800 miles on two weeks ago. Point worth checking... if it has the original tyres, check for cracking between the treads. My two rears had but i allready decided to put a full set of Falken 452,s on anyway.

Just changed to Falken 452s from Potenzas. It,s a big improvement and only cost £540 fitted. Mind you front and rear wheel alignment was out and cost £ 75 to correct. Potenzas still had 3mill left but were starting to crack as they were the original seven year old tyres with 14000 miles on.

Seven years old and 14000 miles! Work is 50 miles away so use my Passat CC. Zed,s for art.. Passat,s for luxury. New tyres on both today... the economy should start to improve now!

Just bought a roadster... looks great roof down but a little clunky roof up. Haven,t noticed much difference in the drive against the coupe. Looking forward to a long hot summer.If not, then i,m moving to Spain! One other point.. less paintwork to polish.

14000 miles here and only a p1 and p2. 7 years old and looks/drives like brand new.Just about to replace first set of potenzas for falkens.Won,t be selling this one so fast this time.

That,s very cheap ! Lowest i can find up here in North Yorkshire is £ 50.Mine need doing too as the car had been sorned for two years before i bought it and the Rays are blistered slightly.

Think we need to start tow new threads. one for lonely hearts and one for us mods.
