    ADVAN wheels?

Try these, but I dont see them in the colour you want, worth a phone call though. http://www.japshop.co.uk/acatalog/ADVAN.html
  3. never forget, sucking up to the new girl comes with lonliness not really, a munter is still a munter even dressed in a pretty frock Haha! Quality! Nope you haven't seen it yet
  4. Welcome, emigrated to England, originally from Kinghorn, Fife.
  5. Hi there, yeah it was 'not just wheels' in Notts by a guy called Richard...... hes just moved to a new site so drop him an email. Told him I was really happy with them and would post on the 350Z site pics if he send me prep pics. My brother in law is going to get his VW Toureg wheels done in the same colour by him when he gets time. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on. Thanks for that, it will be in the new year I've already Maxed out my luck with her indoors I think its prudent to wait until after Xmas, I'll get lots of brownie points that way.
  6. I like them, looking very good I presume you went to the guys at Nottingham in the end? I am just down the road from them and I am thinking of getting mine done. If its not too rude how much was it? you can PM me if you like.
  7. My quote from July this year on the same issue:- Got the same problem, just cannot believe we can send a man to the moon and here we are 40 years later sticking pennies in a boot to make it open? I used to put pennies in a door to go to the loo in a public toilet (cleaned that one up for you). Heath Robinson or what, the daft thing is that Nissan dealers are well aware of these issues and have left them abandoned.
  8. That will do for me, PM sent Jeff
  9. Not been said so far, the colour will look a shade or two out on the plastic bits, I have an azure and the petrol cap cover looks way out but thats how it came from the factory. The reflection from plastics are totally different from the metal sections, if you know what I mean??? Now thats not what I think its what the body shop techs will tell you.
  10. band K is pre March 21st (?) 2006 oh and Correctomundo, but watch out they are usuallly incorrectly advertised in auto trader etc as the £450 ish range, as I found out when I bought mine. Welcome
  11. I assume its the same issue that we get on 350z, if so they lose their spring memory see this link for info, it has already been in many topics before. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=37034&hilit=penny+trick
  12. Theres only one way to solve this "Fiiiiiiiiiiiight"
  13. To Charlotte, Carry on, you are a breath of fresh air, ignore these neanderthals at least we got back to some sensibility now. To the others, never forget that tolerance comes with maturity, eventually you will see it.
  14. Ditto, I agree with Mike I think some have forgotten.
  15. Time of year, cold external air, warm inside car, equals condensation however your aircon should clear it quicker than you say. Probably worth a check, if it needs recharging do it yourself, about £50 from halfords, this link shows you the port location and how to do it. http://www.interdynamics-europe.co.uk/tutorials/ Jeff
  16. Hi Charlotte, heres a link that helps show you how to wash and dry a car, it uses the main principles that pro detailers use. Its american, long winded and a bit corny, but the essentials are correct, happy viewing. Oh by the way you will get many variations on this type of video but as long as the essentials are done in the right order they should all do the job. Hope this more helpful for you. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 207401372# Jeff
  17. If your air con is switched on it will cost, if your heater is switched on it will cost, the air con is dearer in mpg, the heater is cheaper. If you use your heater you will wait an eternity for it to clear steamed up windows, if you use your your aircon it will do it in seconds because it recycles. However I dont use both together, so after that I am as wise as you, check this link and if you find the answer let me know because I don't know any more. http://www.airconcars.com/html/how_it_works.html jeff
  18. Hi I'm still in, pm when your ready. Jeff
  19. Try this link I bought a kit a couple of weeks ago for my Azure Z but you can buy single items etc. The paint was a great match, they take you into a matching process of car, model, year, basic colour and then colour code for your paint,it matched mine perfectly. http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails. ... uctID=5021 Jeff
  20. Round ones (sorry, sorry, sorry just had to say it)

    Red Zed Pics!

Camera used was a Canon EOS 350D fitted with a Tamron SP AF Aspherical XR Di 28-75mm 1:28 lens 1st pic 1/125 @ F8 2nd pic 1/80 @ F5.6 3rd pic 1/125 @ F5.6 My intention was to shoot a couple of shots to try and capture a bit of atmosphere to depict the Autumn months and hopefully get a shot worthy of entry into this years calendar. Time of day was between 1545 and 1615 sun was low in the sky and light starting to fade especially in the 2nd pic I waited to later in the day to try and create a bit of atmosphere with the fading light to try and capture the remoteness of the setting. Could have shot the pics in full sunlight but this would have just washed out any detail and shown up the background more but I wanted the ZED to be the centre of attention. Hi-Res pics look much better but limited to bandwidth for uploading. Cheers Andy I think the first is your best, close to the car, keep away from aerials and stacks in back ground. Personally I try these shots at varying times in the day, I've found early mornings are sometimes better, very low speeds on tripods etc. Clouds and skys are always a PIA, Mr Photoshop is your best ally, you can turn pigs ears into silk purses. Thanks for that. Jeff
  23. His email is at the bottom of his reply - the little button saying Email EDIT: Oops appears that as Admin I can always see peoples email addresses I think you have got the right answer already, I wouldnt want to mess around with the electrics for all the switches, I could feel problems coming on with incompatability issues. Theres lots of "bling bits" out there that help. Hope you resolve the wheel and lets see a few pics.
