If we had a no car parts rule me and Mike would never get each other anything! lol For past birthdays and xmas' I've had a satnav, samco hoses, my GTCs acid dipped for their refurb, a metal polishing kit, even got carbon goodies for my 30th lol I've got Mike carbon goodies for the supra and lots of shiny bits (including custom made battery cover), gave him the money this year for a bike track day and the day before he was due to book it he tore his achillies so that went on car bits too lol People did think he was nuts (and me for wanting one) for giving me a metal polishing kit, but at the end of the day its what I wanted and it does get used, so its not a waste like it would be if I got non-car stuff which "normal" people want.

Lol I'm fine in the zed seats as they're adjustable too but the supra has recaros and although they're comfortable they're really low so I may as well be sitting on the floor

Lol They'd never see me in the supra, I have to sit on a cushion to see over the steering wheel lol

A tad harsh ... did you know she only had a 1.0 Nissan Micra? Even if that is her daily she might have something else at home she doesn't use for work, most people see my other half in his Pug 307 and not know about the Supra TT and Gixer at home as well as my zed. Unless you personally know her, for all you know she could be a racer at weekends, just because she is young and female doesn't mean she can't handle a zed, they have a big engine but I wouldn't say they're particularly spritely unless you're really pushing it. You may well be right, but i dont expect theres many 18 year old receptionists who have a supra TT, a Gixer & a Zed at home as not only would most 18 year olds not be able to afford to buy said cars, but the insurance would be somewhat crippling. My concern was that I dont let anyone touch my car, even my wife. So after spending a good 20 minutes trying to get the receptionist to understand what I wanted doing to my car and her not seeming to understand what day of the week it was, how to use their computer system, or what a fan belt was, to have her then climb in my car and drive off didnt really inspire me with confidence that she wouldnt scrap the side of the car or reverse it into something. Im sure there are exceptions to the rules and i didnt meant to afford you if you are young and female. Lol no worries, you didn't offend me, although I am female I am also a few years past young these days, and to be honest after seeing some receptionists at garages I would probably say I'll take it to the workshop myself lol one girl who used to work where my boyfriend does got a call from a guy with chips on his windscreen and needed a replacement and she said why didn't he just clean them off! I don't think she ever lived it down lol It just bugs me sometimes when men jump to conclusions with women and cars (don't get me wrong I'm sure I do it too) especially when I've had said to me at a petrol station "nice car, does your boyfriend know you borrowed it", which is generally from a **** in a BMW or fiesta!

SMD may be floating along in his Jag lol A good excuse for the train Southeastern trains not to be running in the morning, they'll use anything to excuse their crap service, they're already stating major disruption and cancelling services and it's not even raining yet! at least I might get a lie in though lol

Unfortunately a lot of this happens nowadays, even with cars that haven't even done their running in miles they are thrashing around, you can imagine the damage they're doing

I didn't even notice the Nismo stickers til you guys mentioned them lol I quite like them, although I'm not generally a fan of black wheels, the blue does lift them a bit. For tyre gel I use Meguiars Endurance Gel as it lasts quite a while, I don't like shiny tyres though so usually buff the gel so it looks like clean new tyres rather than polished ones.
