  1. Ah well, mine was just advertised as a "stainless 350z exhaust" and I paid £140 delivered for it brand new. When it turned up in a JapSpeed box I thought "here we go" after reading on here but I had to fit it as I needed the car. Mines not quite as wonky as BulletMagnets so I'm still quids in if I have to get it welded.
  2. THREAD REVIVAL! I just fitted a Japspeed K2 to my car, and it is slightly wonky just like BulletMagnets car. I asked my supplier and they told me there was a 6 month period where Nissan made a slight change to the exhaust. Not sure if that is true or not, but mine is also an 04 plated UK car liked BulletMagnet. CarShark / others with wonky Japspeed - what age are your cars?
  3. A683 is my commuted to work B6255 is great fun isn't it

    New Ford Mondeo

Problem with Mondeo type cars that look cool when they first come out is when they have sold craploads and every other car is the same you quickly get used to it and they don't look special any more!

  6. Thats a good price... tempted! Will think on it.
  7. I'm after a UK spec standard 350Z exhaust in reasonable condition, the ends have rusted out on mine and leaking. I need the mid pipe and the back box. If you've upgraded then stop tripping over it in the garage and sell to me Would consider an upgrade system but nothing too loud! I can arrange a courier to pick it up if not local. Cheers.
  8. Theres loads of room back there with the speaker support metal work removed: From viewtopic.php?f=9&t=50037 Got to be as much room as a mk1 TT back seat!
  9. Yup, they are very pricey for some reason.

    Handling

Get rid of those awful awful tyres immediately. Before the ditch finders do as their name suggests. Or worse. Either get some Bridgestone RE050s to match the front, or ideally replace the whole set. I'd suggest Falken FK 452. Good advice Have any of you experience of Maxxis Ma-Z1 tyres? There is a "Drift" variant of the MA-Z1 which is not as good as a road tyre as the "standard" MA-Z1, unfortunately it was the Drift variant which autoexpress tested (and it rated it above some premium contenders): So, they are not as good as the bridgstones, but they aren't ditch finders. I bought some replacement alloys for my Z that had "sunway" tyres on - these were truly dreadful and true ditchfinders causing the car the slide around in the wet - they didn't last long. So I would suggest the OP gets their alignment checked (inc castor / camber) by a reputable motorsport place. Alignment is critical on a performance car like a Z. I would check all the suspension bushings (bannana bar etc) as these so crack and cause alignment to shift. Check the date code of tyres - I would replace after 7 years on a road car as they do "go off".
  11. These are still for sale £70 posted
  12. No, but it might stop knocks from the front suspension These fit the front "bannana" arms. "creaking" from suspension is normally anti roll bar drop links, which are a much easier and cheaper fix. Try disconnecting one of yours (tie out of the way) to see if the creak goes away. If so, you have your culprit.
  13. Genuine Nissan parts. Bought for my car but it turns out the knocking noise is from the ARB drop links - mine have plenty of life in them. Opened only for photo. £70 delivered for the pair, may sell individually.
  14. Ah OK crossing to dunkerque I think its a 300 mile round trip and sounds like you used about £90 quids worth in total for a minute there I though there was some kind of miracle ....
  15. You did ~400 miles on €60 (£53) petrol?!!! what is is magical throttle controller you talk of and where can I get one?? Did you use cruise control?
  16. This has been done already - those are a re-hash of a very cheapo universal roof rack. See viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41933&start=15 I wouldn't trust my bike to those tiny hooks/straps. I use a Saris Guardian bike rack as recommended on the Saris site- not great but a better solution. I have helicopter paint protection tape where the straps rub on the paintwork.
  17. +1 to the other guys comments I'm thinking of going the other way. After 18 months with a Z I'm looking at E46 M3 or 130i to regain rear seats and a 6 cyl BMW is on my "to own" list.
  18. were the discs new at the same time? Have you measured the thickness? IIRC they are 30mm new, and wear limit is 28mm.
  19. You can get these from the states.
  20. I would take the rears to the track in the car (will fit in back if you remove the spare, sit one on top of the speakers in front of the strut brace) and swap when you get there. They will defo be very illegal by the time you have finished! Keep a careful eye on the tread depth every few laps - you don't want a blowout at high speed!
  21. Just looked up their site and they have absolutely nothing in Scotland. This has actually angered me now, why should we in Scotland not have the option of doing a course and not receive 3 penalty points? Its only some safety camera partnerships that do them. Both times I've been snapped by scameras I had points, no course option. My mum got snapped and got offered the course Still it didn't affect my insurance at all.
  22. AFAIK The reason is that its illegal to drive with a bulb out and they will stop you driving (confiscate your license or impound car?) if you are found driving with a bulb out. Its not a legal requirement to carry spare bulbs but its a good idea so you can change the bulb and go on your way. If you need lots of tools to change then perhaps best to get recovered. It is a legal requirement to carry a warning triangle and high vis for each passenger within reach of the passenger compartment (so you can put it on before exitiing the vehicle).
  23. £6k a great price if the story adds up Anyone here win it?
