  1. i love this thread, makes me want to do it all myself
  2. So you don't drive fast, but not slow. You don't rag your car but it's drinking a lot of fuel. You don't wheel spin but you tried drifting the other day. i smell a contradiction
  3. Sounds like you've jsut got a bit of a clunky gear box, usually nothing to worry about, nissan boxes are known for being clunky
  4. Haha! I'll be doing the bumming thank you very much! is this following the age old adage "you're only gay if you take it" Only gay if you push back! Class! Also if you cry afterwards does that mean you're safe? (not gay) Also can I just say I'm not homophobic, I do like gays. haha this is the first time i've seen someone come out of the closet on a car forum! Infact on any forum!
  5. Very nice! it makes work worth while when you get the little perks in life.
  6. must have been going some thats for sure.
  7. So am i correct in saying when reading the above about the benefits that people can/do get 26k+. But this wont be taxed will it? So it's hardly equivelant to the income of someone earning 26k as they get taxed before they get the money. So really it's equivilant to somone on closer to 30k? Thing is these sums of money are above the national average as well, so how on earth can the government justify paying people who don't have a job, never do and never will have one so much! To me, if you've worked like myself and i imagine most on here, since you left school/uni/collage and then come accross unemployment/sickness etc you should get money to help you with the bills as your more likely to get back into eomplyement and paying into the system even if it is on a lower salery. I know i couldn't just sit around and do nothing!
  8. it's a additive that's put in teh gear box that further lubricates and makes gear changes much much smoother and can make the box last longer.
  9. I wonder how the driver see's past the camera guy. Gotta love the days before health and saftey!
  10. Happy Birthday Toby! Don't eat to many parmo's!
  11. Ask Alex to price up some gearbox oil and some molislip as well, then you know they right stuff is going in and your box will be very nice after. £200 is about right for a clutch chnage. it's down as a 3.5 hour job

  23. For me it would be what has he replaced, for exmple, clutch, gear box, suspension problems. If he's spent as much on them as the rest of the car then it'd be worth a look. My zed at the minute looks awefull after a few bad mishaps and jsut being unlucky really. However it's had a fortune spent on it replace a lot of things. But then he doesn't say this, only way is to ring him or go see it
