  1. £375 will get you y-pipe back, so mid section and back box if you will.
  2. Tarmac is the man to speak to imo. He's currently selling scorpion exhausts for a very good price and service is fantastic, if you dont want lots of noise don't get a K1, they're preetttyyy loud! never really heard a K2 tbh.
  3. Right, my friends and i have had this discussion on going for months so i thought i'd hear peoples takes on it. One of my friends goes to teeside uni, another goes to Durham uni. The person who goes to Durham uni feels and tries to justify that his degree is "better" and "more valuable" than my friend who goes to teeside uni. they've both got 2:1's for the degree's granted in different subjects but he still claims that because he got his degree and Durham uni, and it's supposidly up there with Oxford, Cambridge etc that it's worth more and if an employer had both of them in a room he'd choose him. So, is a degree from one uni, worth more than another, and would an employer choose someone with a say 1st from a higher uni, over someone with a 2:1 from a lower uni, but has more work experience. DISCUSS!
  4. did the OP ever get insurance... Hhmmmm.. I was 22 when i got mine, still to this day people ask how i afford it, most are people who shunned me when i got a job/apprenticeship instead of going to sixth form uni etc. Most are working minimum wage jobs or no jobs at all. I think the moral of the story that everyone is trying to get accross is, if you work hard for it, then why not! As well as don't slam it in peoples faces if you're doing well for yourself or your parents have done things for you.
  5. another reason not to visit sheffield! Sorry to hear about this though, it's a shocking thing that you can't leave anything in your car, a but i used to work with got his car broken into twice in 2 days one for £2 in change and the next for some cheap sunglasses. On the other hand, my mate left his ipad on the dash of his mr2 and it never even got a second glance haha!
  6. i know that feeling it's such a progressive car till you get that little bit past the point and it's basicly a pendulum. The mr2 was my first RWD car to and i took it very very easy to being with and then pushed it, makes you understand RWD a bit more. on an interesting note, take the car out in snow, i find that gives good experience with the back end kicking out and what happens. on a private road of course.
  7. I always find they have silly renewals, ring someone else and if you insurance doesnt match them then move away. simples. if it's with elephant admiral or bell ring another of the 3 beat the quote, ring your insurer and because they're the same company they can beat that to. without having to change anyway
  8. They might be spinning but not enough to course any alarm i.e coming out of a junction putting your foot down and not going saideways or the backend kicking out at all? Nothing wrong with the tyres slipping a little as long as it's all under control? suppose it's all down to experience and if you want to take the risk
  9. i just trimmed the diff cover down, 2 mine job, sorted. mine was rattling off the from Xmember jsut after the Y pipe so just a few jubilee clips and hoisted it up.. sorted! thats taken my months to get it jsut right so it doesn't rattle against anything haha!
  10. my friend did the same in his MR2 roadster, he did have a camry V6 in it though lol, but still, i had a mk2 mr2 and with no TCS it's a good way to learn how the car handles and the limits of grip. If your sensible enoguh you shouldnt need TCS on in the wet as you won't be giving it any beans. Couldn't agree more with it kicking in earlier, i was just last night do this test, with TCS on it'd kick in, do exactly the same with it off and you just grip..
  11. Alignmycar.co.uk All the garages on that site use the Hunter system, which is the best out imo.
  12. Don't know if this is true but i was under the impression that spazz where just rebranded eibachs?
  13. lexus lights are that bad not even lexus use them anymore
  14. only thing i dont like about the centre console with that wrap is the weaves going the wrong way on parts. lol
  15. looks lowered? fron seems lower than a standard imo.
  16. i'd like to see the proof of improved mpg tbh. Afaik you shouldn't need any additives just service the engine and use good 29+rom fuel. 3-4 bhp is nothing, and 4-5 mpg could be easily gained by driving style.
  17. i need that noise in my life!!! Great car there bud!
  18. i believe he has normal and uprated ones in.
  19. Got mine done for £150 Known good garage to but if i didn't know anyone £250 is a good price, £350 is a bit expensive imo.
  20. Funny how you overlooked the main object of the photo and noticed the house... ...classic... Thanks, that was my intention oh i forgot! nice car!
  21. I get that all the time so I know exactly how you fell... All the damn time... Will get worse in a few years when I upgrade to a 370z . My thoughts exactly bud
  22. i started at a new office a few weeks back and the one thing im known for is my car, "who's is the orange 350z in the car park, it's stunning" the the usual, what engines in it, "3.5l v6" "f&*%king hell, bet thats quick!" Had a few offers for it already, it's a good ice breaker when your talking to people who're into cars Had the usual looks and comments, i love teh looks at the pumps, i look about 18 and people jsut give you wierd hacky looks probably thinking "he's driving daddy's car"
  23. you two spend less than £200 a month on petrol, Jealous Bought mine using a nice loan, as one was ending the year after, always wanted one, insurance was only £200 more than the mk2 mr2 i owned, hey presto, Zed!
