  1. Any chance you still want to move this on? Sounds like right up my street
  2. Sold subject to payment - mods please lock.
  3. So the zed has gone and a few bits still in the shed Boot Liner - I must say that this was my favorite bit i bought for the zed. Moulded boot liner (coupe only) great if you dont have the thick boot mat. Its lovely thing even if you do! Zed badge on the mat - they are about £180 from nissan. £60 posted Cup Holder - Holds 2 cups under the centre console It wont fit in your car if you have bluetooth module in the centre cubby £20 posted
  4. +1 Mrs Drivebyabusers 1 series is a joy to dive and even though its a 118d it feels nippy enough most of the time
  5. You won't have noticed me. I was in a cab. It was a prius and I still feel the shame and regret. You however were making 'progress'
  6. Fixed it - it seems that the bit of plastic on the boot hatch (the lower bit that covers the wiper motor) was loose. I took it off and re fitted it and was done. Simples
  7. It would be great to know what makes a difference - i was going to strip the boot this weekend but seems no point.
  8. did this work? i have the same squeak on mine. its driving me nuts!
  9. I find the auto really good - yes lazier but in semi-auto mode still enough to play with. Its obviously no zed but the torque and the gearbox make it an everyday car that is pleasant to drive and trust me you will enjoy it enough when you are on your own. Also a 118d is plenty fast enough in real world. You may not win a traffic light GP's but it gathers and keeps speed very capably. The economy (regular 36mpg around town however its driven) is a bonus. You will end up leaving the zed keys on the side if you know you are trawling through traffic.
  10. I have to say my missus' 1 series is one of the best cars I have ever driven. 118d auto se - it should suck but i just cant fault it. 35mpg around town rwd and a giggle in the bends. IMHO the best small car you can buy. And £10K gets you a nice one. Enough room for a family even and a boot. Try one you wont be disappointed.
  11. 03 plate Fairlady auto with a Charge speed body kit In Northwood on saturday morning I felt waves of lust and envy....
  12. Great tracks - the video for the new one is here http://www.youclubvideo.com/video/177977/dj-fresh-ft-sian-evans-louder-2011 I have done work for the bloke that directed them - He is a real talent - Love the wiley video he did http://www.pulsefilms.co.uk/#/directors/ben-newman/projects
  13. Sorry - Didnt mean to open a can of worms! The beauty of forums is that they "polarise" opinions and the debate is almost always healthy I think its got to be worth a punt - I'll post up the results when i get them.
  14. I met a guy in a car park the other day with an '04 GT that he had had since new. He told me that BG44K fuel additive and carbon deposit cleaner had worked wonders on his Zed. It gave him.... drum roll .... 2 or 3 extra mpg on an urban cycle and 4 or 5 mpg on the motorway. Its £20 per can so not a major risk - i just dont want it to ruin my lump! Has anyone used it? Is it snake oil? Having googled it there seems to be some quite positive reviews and mentions in various forums. Would be interested in any informed opinions http://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/news/bg-44k-for-petrol/30/
  15. I have the same - i thought it was something to do with the aircon or the heating system. I get the noise intermittently after about 30 mins of driving then seems to go away. Curious if anyone has an answer.
