  1. i'm in a similar position, sold my 350 recently and tryin got decide what to go for next, What puts me off a brand new 370 is the depreciation, so i'm looking at one for around 18-20k, also looking at a S2 elise, or exige, elise probabley a 111R or SC'd if i can find one or a earlier s2 exige. 370 plus points are the looks and interior, loved my 350 to bits and know i'd love a 370 jsut as much bad points are depreciation rates and repair rates if it goes wrong. (are the 370's gear boxes better than the 350's? dont want to replace one of them again!) Elise/exige. plus points are cheap to run, fuel, tax etc. Plenty of power to weight, great fun. But would i miss the comforts that i loved about my 350. Looked at caymans but they're out of my price range, plus porkas do nothing for me.
  2. after selling my zed a few months ago i'm commiting to either a s2 exige, 111R elise or the newer SC'd elise. as many here by the sounds of it, considered a 370 but can't justify the costs for what is essentially a weekend car. Doesn't seem to be that many 111R's around at the minute though
  3. :O Goat mountain looks like pure madness to me! Zedley has got so fair
  4. Cheers mate, thats lots of usefull info. i'd be looking at doing night courses and week courses. So i'd probably try and get as many as i can as i imagine that would increase job chances.

  7. Luke are them speeds Fibre to the premise or is that still using the coax cable from the cab?
  8. Morning all! I'm after a bit of info and i know there's a good wealth of knowledge on here so thought i'd ask. I'm looking at training for a new career path as mine could be looking a bit sketchy at the minute and seems to be going down hill, loosing a lot of staff for lesser roles atm and i'd rather have a plan for the future incase i get dumped on. Currently i work for BT Openreach (awaits flaming) in network design. I've been thinking about doing some training in a new-ish profession for just incase basicly. To fit in with the past 6 years i've had working with the copper and a bit of fibre network i'm looking to train in something a bit more IT network based. I've been looking at some Cisco CCNA week long courses but not sure what to go for. Imagine someone on here will be in that kind of industry so all info is welcome Thanks!
  9. I've seen and heard from lee since then, mat should reply
  10. GLWS Vik, we all know you'll be sad to see her go! Anyone who isn't willing to travel to see/buy the car should do it. very very well maintained form a very genuine member
  11. New ear drums required haha! If this was two weeks ago I'd offer my scorpion but it's gone now
  12. Zugara has my list pretty much spot on there. mine would be: Size 6-8, height 5'4" to 5'9", pale coloured skin, typical hour glass shape, but NOT with child bearing hips Small -medium boobies And a nice Ass Brown hair. Natural looking without too much war paint For me i have 2 specific No No's for girls i would go out with, No smokers and No girl who wares to much make up. Personally the last one is a massive pet peve of mine, why a girl would want to be orange and wear that much make-up they need paint stripper at the end of the day is beyond me. I dated one or two of these and there's nothing worse than when you've had a bit of a kiss etc( ) and you end up with all kinds of coloured lips because half of there face is in your mouth. Beutty is on the inside Imo. Luckily i've bagged the perfect girl for me, 5'5 slim (size 6) AWESOME bum (although she dislikes it) great sized boobies (what a word) and a great figure with brilliant legs, brown hair brown eyes and a pale complection and the only makeup she wears is a light powder and eye shadow. Also has awesome fashion sense (much to the dislike of my wallet) For me weight used to be a massive thing, i'm a very slim guy always have been and all of the girls i've dated have usualy rejected me because of this, especially the bigger girls. So i tend to go for short skinnier girls for relationships. Hopefully not to much of an issue these days as i'm bulking up (hopefully) haha!
  13. i used to have a BSA under barrel cocking mecanism i got from my dad when i was a teenager, many many fluffy bunnies felt the rath of that at my aunts farm. could take a bird or rabit out at about 30-50 metres maybe more. Don't think they make them like that anymore though, weighed a ton compared to my mates new break barrel rifle! similar to this! http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?um=1&hl= ... x=75&ty=45
  14. Ha i'm using that in the future. You really need to get away to some nice roads mate, if your doing in town and motorway only your never going to love any car tbh. IMO cars are all about handling and power (and looks ofc) these aren't really used in town and on a motorway (well power can be). Find some nice roads mate
  15. Will do mate! hopefully be down at the parents this weeked to get it
  16. Glad you got it sorted Col! I to was supprised at estate agents, i had a viewing in the same appartment block i live in atm and the first agents i went to view with turned up for the appointment late and then didn't ring me and when i rang them they said he'd just been in and viewed it, didn't ring me and just blanked me when he walked past me :/ The agent we use at the minute is equally as useless. Took ages sorting the premise out, didn't do any precheck (we needed to move in asap) so had to do them ourselves. the guy who lived there before still had his towels etc on rails! So we eventually get in, 3 months later an inspection is required, fine i book a day off work, they say anytime between 9am and 3pm. Ok i'll stay in and play xbox all day and wait (not a problem). Gets to 4 pm, i ring them up and ask when they'll be around, they say oh sorry our cars have broken down and we're short staffed so couldn't attend, she said the car broke down at 8am. So they could have informed me at 9am that they wern't attending and i could have enjoyed the day! They got a good email a few days later olong the lines of "god knows how your number 1 in the north east" Had our inspection the other day (first time i've rented didn't know what to expect. They wanted to use our parking space instead of paying, can't my flatmate has the card to get in/out for cars (they didn't know if we had parking before this) then when they're in thay ask if anything is wrong, i say no bar a few things, she writes it down and go's! Could ahve been done over the phone 3 bloody months ago!!! /rantover
  17. For sale i have a V2 D1 spec Throttle Controller, had it under a year and tbh i didn't use it a whole lot as i mainly did mainly motorway miles. Selling as i no longer have the zed. Controller is £90 delivered. I also have a rear window wiper and motor as well as boot weight. These are currently at the parents house so don't have pics but will asap. Dunno what to ask for it so i'll say £40
  18. I enjoyed this thread, I ran mixed tyres for over a year with no problem, i attended one of the runs out and again didn't come across any problems so i'd say it's most likely road conditions for you mate. Which comes to me agreeing with most others saying you're probably driving to fast for them. I know what the roads up here can be like, i imagine if your following a landy then your likely to be on some of the nice twistie b roads we have, just take your time and think about when your going to drive fast as even the cold can cause misshaps with a powerfull RWD car. As for his spelling and grammer, mine is awefull IMO and i've never been slated. However this guy isn't using text peak, he's using speak text. i.e he's typing in a geordie dialect. Thats why you southern buggers can't understand him
  19. Was a massive queue at morrisons, luckily i don't really drive that much these days so if they strike can't see it effecting me haha! Brilliant by the government, tell you what lads, we need some more money, lets make a big deal about a strike that probably wont happen so everyone will buy more fuel and we can put prices up Government
