I would rather stick my head in a bucket of boiling tar than drive another SLK, regardless of how nice it looked If you want to be put in a position that bring tears to your eyes after 20 miles, go and see a physiotherapist it will be cheaper....... Yep, thats the arse blown right outta them......

High bitting point, noisy thrust release bearing, they all sound a tad ropey when the pedal is released, engine running and in neutral though.Thats a trait of a 350z As said, clicky axle, simple fix. Just a few hours of your time and some grease. Plugs circa 50k. Make sure on service history, and if possible call the garages that have serviced it to confirm that they actually did service the car, they will tell you if there was any major issues with the car.

Mmm, apart from a job that takes up all day & a couple of hours or so every evening, and a wife, 5 year old & 9 month old to amuse, plus random other 'chores' I'm delegated, I wouldn't have the first clue where to start (plus surely I'd get my hands dirty too ) You don't get dirty hands by pushing buttons in the cabin....... And, by the time you have been to the dealer, you could do it yourself at home and still have more time available than taking it to the dealer.

Just ashame you won't be able to paint the tops of them, so why bother
