YES....once dry use black boot polish to return to its former glory, thats what i did on mine... Then Fabsil to keep it waterproof

You might as well wipe your ducks arses with the warranty paper work, cos thats all it about worth.....

When I had my 350 roadster, I had problems with the roof, and Nissan warranty, I called them, they said that the roof is not covered under any warranty and is actually classed as.........TRIM, go figure So I explained that the TRIM actually keep the inside of the car dry and therefore cant be called TRIM, it was like talking to a brick wall. So, in their opinion, the roof has nada to do with the bodywork at all. Clutch, general wear N tear I think they will put it down to.

As asked, did you ask the garage why this had been done? I would have of gone BANZI....... NO spanner monkey has a "go" in my car, only Jim......
