  1. I would check the threads and if possible file a "leading edge" to the first thread on the pipe. This may help it screw correctly together. Secondly, are the male and female threads the same. One might be metric one might be imperial of some fancy size only produced by the manufacturer. It the female thread OK, check to see if the thread has started to "peel" away, Again I would pick out any thread you can see, if any. Failing that, looks like your on your bike on monday....

  4. Graham, you found a miner in your car iirc didn't you
  5. Looking at that......it's gonna be loads of cash to get it done, no CCTV near whe you were parked
  6. It's prob worthless, but for a new one
  7. Fuel solenoid valves clacking I think.
  8. I cant see how you can get a bent rod if the plugs were out? Or did you take the plugs out, see they were wet and put them back in? And what now makes you think you have done internal damage You need to remove all the plugs and see if it will spin over by hand. Was the intake pipe wet internally? Was the throttle body wet internally. And as said, was the puddle "that" deep?
  9. Grey suits remind me of John Major.....
  10. Face ache is going to turn the human race into mutes IMO. Ability has gone of how to have a conversation with someone else. Why publicise your private life to the world.
  11. It used to happen in my 350, if I parked near a CCTV in a car park it would go into alarm after about 5 mins.
  12. Canada is closed too clowns next week Jim...
  13. Have you run the motor without the threaded rod engaged? Lube the gears. Is the comm clean? The bit that spins round under the carbon brushs. May have a missing comm piece or a couple may be standing higher than the rest of them. Bearings maybe shot on the motor, if they are not sealed for life bearings, you can drop a bit of 3 in 1 oil on them and see if it helps. If they are sealed for life, just prise out the dust guard and add oil. Throw away the dust guard cos you won't get it back in.
  14. If you drive like a goon eventually you will crash any car. Public roads are not your personal race track. Zed boring.......depends what you want how deep your pockets are and if you want to drive like an idiot stick with what you have got. Zeds are for the most part a well mannered car with respected owners who, rather than rag about actually care about what they drive and not how fast they can go. Stick with what you have, you will be far happier IMO. Welcome btw.
  15. Are you parked near a CCTV, I have found that the ir sets them off
