  1. Do luck for me too, car looks great as it is tho. Would look even better if it was dropped a bit also
  2. Sunny Govan Radio, its a community service which usually has some chav as the DJ or a pensioner ranting about his heating bill, but it plays good music, compared to chris moyles show which is several hours of utter drivel from an annoying idiot. I think the song was Utah Saints - Something Good, (5 minute drive to work) blast from the past!
  3. Agree'd, staring at stats about the zed will most likely make you sad, if your a stat monkey kind of guy. In all honesty the performance of the zed doesn't look amazing on paper, but that's all immaterial when you drive it, its such a complete car, luxury, performance, looks. who gives a sh!t about stats!
  4. Spotted a black Zed just off Crow road, parked up. Often see it when driving by to work. nice kit on it! needs a wash tho!
  5. I have the unit shown above, and it works a charm. Now I just need to find a decent cradle to sit my iphone in
  6. Dark wheels look best IMO, but darker than your picture, almost black. and maybe lower a tad?
  7. Anyone any experience with creating their own fibreglass/carbon fibre designs? Kinda fed up paying for all the stuff i could probably make and paint my self if I put my mind to it, so just wondering if you need any special machinery or factory stuff? I.e. speaker pods/interior related stuff. Any advice would be good cheers. Posted in wrong section please move for me Mods.
  8. My friend works at Falken Performance, I might book mine in soon and see what results I get. I also have a full stainless steel exhaust and a jwt pop charger. But yes I can understand why you would be dissapointed, but most cars these days rarely meet quoted BHP stats :
  9. Because Gran recommended them obviously...
  10. Sounds great, roll on summer so I can get some zedding done!

    Red BMW

The sides of it remind me of a crumpled up piece of paper for some reason
  12. Had the same problem and to be honest, it was easier to just bite the bullet and pay the 70 quid, mostly because i couldnt be bothered with the hassle of arguing it, but also incase it caused me hassle with my credit and debt recovery folk

    Irritation

Not me, I dont mind at all, I actually love the old Datsuns, and its all part of the Nissan heritage and where the 350z eventualy comes from.
  14. Showed my workmate your pics today, he was quite impressed and mentioned you have a good eye for composition. Particularly liked the style of the penguin picture and spitfire parked up on the ground. His second name is 'Steer' btw!
  15. Thanks for the welcomes guy's. funny you should say that! His first words when we got home were 'I'm getting one of these'.
  16. Well after about 4 weeks of searching and trawling through Pistonheads/Ebay/Autotrader I managed to find a Zed that was worth the drive! A few texts and emails to GIXXERUK regarding condition and seeing all the photobucket pictures and I headed down to North Wales yesterday with my brother to collect the car. When we pulled up I was blown away by how immaculate this car was compared to so many rough ones of the same age id seen, its been kept in such great condition, outside the body works perfect, and inside you would think the car was brand new! Paul and family were lovely folk and looked after us with tea and topgear while we got the paper work sorted out, he even stuck 20 quid in it to send me on my way, top guy! Then I headed home, with my brother being the lucky one to enjoy the return journey in the Zed. Last night I got to have a little drive for the first time, and I'm blown away by the Zed, it feels such a polished car, gear changes are so slick and steering/accelerating is just amazing. The dash layout as well is just so comfertable. I love this car! The mods to the car have been very subtle and tasteful, nothing to over the top, retaining the classy look of the car and brightening it up a bit. Hope to be meeting the rest of you guys soon in future meets etc
  17. They actually have schools set up in Nigeria where folk can go along and take a several day course and learn how to scam us westerners. I believe the Nigerians refer to them as 'yahoo men'. You wouldn't think people actually fall for it, but they do. Came across a chap once who was a big fraudster and had managed to back scam several Nigerian scammers for the little pennies that they had, now he was good!
  18. So was the spitfire nut in my work....Rob is that you?
  19. Guy i sit beside in work also takes wildlife and aeroplane photographs, I'll show him your stuff tommorow and see what he says Im not very good at telling if a picture is professionaly good or not, or if composition is right, rule of thirds an all that stuff, but your pictures look lovely to me
  20. If all goes well mate, hopefully picking it up tommorow Cheers for the welcome, will need to meet up sometime for a wee run! Im sure ive seen a few zeds around the Quay carpark when i take the girlfriend to the odeon on a saterday/sunday night.
  21. If bondage companies made alloys, they would look like them.
  22. Sounds good mate, would love to see the pics. My boss was into cave diving, told me too many stories of folk loosing their guide lines, and then he gave me Bernie Chowdhury's book 'the last dive', where a father and son die of the bends...come to think of it, maybe he didn't want me to get into diving Something I would love to try tho!
  23. Wouldn't it technicaly be better to be stabbed by one of these? if it freezes the organ and stops it from bleeding, then you can get to the hospital, warmed up and treated? just a thought hoho My boss tried to get me to start diving so I could go with him at the weekends, he gave me a few books to read on it and it scared the crap out of me
  24. Good outlook mate, no point getting bent out of shape about it. Thread progress has been really good to read through. Hope to see it all finished soon!
  25. Bah! I would post up mine, but I'd probably get jailed. My desk is very geeky looking and I'm surrounded by criminals faces and names, and their computers. Love the wind farm guy, that looks such a blissful place to be. This is a cool thread
