  1. Shiny painted black roof with the back window tint looks great, however the carbon roof and boot on a silver/gm makes the car appear dirty, like the wings and bonnet have been washed and the roof hasn't. Or am I just tripping?
  2. Flashed lights, but didn't manage to get the reg number!
  3. Had the same dillema personaly, but went for the Iphone instead and loved it ever since. Easily the best phone ive ever used. Sure there are things it doesnt do, or doesnt do as well as others out there, but like previously stated, you will soon forget about these!
  4. Nice one! What did they play? old stuff or newish stuff?
  5. Hi mate, the never ending rust battle was one of the reasons i moved on from the Pulsar also! You wont be dissapointed though, these cars are awsom!
  6. Names: Oscar & Monty Breed: Westies Likes: chasing squirels, digging, tag teaming other dogs Dislikes: any form of grooming! 3 months old in this pic, but a few months older now!
  7. Nice! Cant beat a woman with a lead foot!
  8. Agree with the name and shaming of the company who sold a defective flywheel and take 5 months to organise a returns procedure, however I don't agree with the naming and shaming of Envy. How many garages do you know would offer a discount because they have never fitted a part before? I don't know many to be honest, none near me would, they would quite happily attempt it, claiming to know everything there is about your car and spout rubbish to you in the hope to fob you off and then charge you full price claiming to have done a job they knew full well how to do all along. I think the discount price offered was honest and respectable. As for the delay of getting the car done/checked, and the missing of phone calls and courier services, I think these are the expected rigmarole with car repairs these days and i think of all the 20 times I've had my car into a tuner to be upgraded/fixed there has always been mishaps and delays. The worst ones actually tended to be at Audi and BMW dealerships were I was paying a premium for their service. I've had much worse time in the past with a tuner for the same type of problem that seen my car off road for a year, but ultimately it was the part manufacturers fault and I accepted that although the correspondences from the tuner could have been better, ultimately I was not the only car in that garage and these type of mishaps are to be expected. Just my two pence!
  9. Sleeping police video cracked me up! If there's any one who deserves to be shopped on, its traffic cops! They would fine their granny if given the chance.

    Gravel noise

I get a bit of gravel rattle as well, but i guess its to be expected considering the rear wheel well is pretty much inside the cabin. Some folk have mentioned putting dynamat or second skin on the boot floor or the area behind the glove box under the trim. It doesn't bug me enough to make me want to do this though. If you live on a farm though it probably would get irritating!
  11. I used to own one, but ultimately it depends on how much money's been thrown at it. With a few grand thrown at suspension and having it properly set up, they can actually corner quite nicely. Doesn't matter how much money you throw at it though, its never going to corner like an Evo, but they can be deceiving! Also if its stripped well, it could be down to 1000kg or less. I agree with the aerodnyamics though, it has none. But this is a race id love to see. Please keep us updated as i will be rooting for you and the pulsar
  12. Hi mate - how on EARTH did you get that quote!!!??? I looked through Admiral, with me, my mum and dad on the policy 2 years no claims and garaged overnight they wanted £1880 a year (IMO not worth ever paying that for insurance.) If I wait till im 21 its around the £1150 mark... (roll on July 31st) what company did you go through to get £900 a year at 20!? Try taking your dad off and just leaving your mum on. My dad was pushing my quote up an extra £120
  13. Nice write up, most interesting! Is this flash available on all years of zed or only 06+?
  14. Hi mate, welcome and good luck finding a nice zed. I know how it feels to be in your position as I was in it 3 weeks ago! But I got mine and thankfully found a great example with the mods you mentioned already on it! (different type exhaust tho) There's a lot out there, but in the end i found mine right here on the owners club, meticulously looked after.
  15. All smooth IMO. The lines on the bumper don't actually meet the lines on the bonnet which I think looks kind of weird. Like the bonnet has fangs...
  16. Would be great to buy it cheap from the insurance company and just fix it yourself, if you had the knowledge to do so.

    My new 20s

Look good mate, those wheels really fill the arches I think. good job.
  18. Same thing happened to me and my dad while we were in England a few years back doing a job. The area was unsigned though. Came back to the van and it was clamped, but fortunately we had enough metal cutting gear in the van to do fort knox, so we cut it off and left it in pieces by the pavement. Drove back to Scotland and never heard from them again. Unlucky mate, but I know for a fact I certainly wouldn't have handed over £250 to anyone at the side of the road.
  19. If you can afford to buy a Veyron, you can afford to drive it into a lake!
  20. I was torn between purchasing a Z3M and 350z - both similarly priced with the Z3M being older. In the end I went with the 350z as I think its a better car in terms of being much more modifiable. Z3M engines apart from the later S54 were just time bombs waiting to go off with bearing problems and Vanos failures. I just couldn't afford to fix those issues if they arose, not to mention the arrogance of BMW to treat these common faults as though it wasn't their problem.

    Juke

Hmm, not for me. I have to agree their design teams would appear to be on different planets! One team designing the GTR and Z's, and another designing these telly tubby looking blobs!
  22. Ouch, hopefully he died instantly, would be nasty if he lay and suffered. That was always my worst fear when I was on the flumes as a kid at my local swimming pool!
