  1. Welcome to the world of...but nah seriously that sounds like a rough deal, i know what its like, i waited a year for Quaife to machine a few gear cogs for me after i had payed over £2k and been promised them , but that is just what happens sometimes and its a shame as it takes the joy away from the actual modifying.
  2. Thats a very nice stealthy job there. Has anyone here attempted a sub box which fits where the tonneu cover is, under the arch? Seen a few nice ones on my350 but i dont imagine you would get much of this 'volume' under there!
  3. Im interested pending price etc
  4. I have an urge to lick them, do they taste how they look?
  5. my mates Mi16 engined 205, stripped out with track set up, was on my bum all the way to 120 before the zed started stretchin its legs an pulled away from him. Power to weight ratios must be pretty close, i reckon the zeds biggest enemy is its weight.

    Wrap it up!

Much does a decent wrap cost anyway? is its benefit vs respraying due to lower costs or the fact its easily reversible to previous colour?
  7. Yeah loved it, I seen it without hearing anything about it, hype or trailer, and was really caught off guard. Crackin film, I'd love to see a District 10.
  8. Yeap! one was a Kuro hope you made a few quid!
  9. Where are they all coming from! I seen two parked outside the Odeon Quay on Saturday night! Also seen a white R35 GTR in the same car park, had to stand and drool for a bit while the g/f got froze to death
  10. Seen it again a few days later, just at the squinty bridge, must be his work route. You got a guilty conscience D? twice in one week!
  11. This stuff confuses the hell out of me, but its something I would love to dabble in. But then again I'm very anti gambling, so maybe it isn't. i want to be cool like the men in boiler room
  12. Good job mate, I just ordered a snow lance and some shampoo and a claybar, so hopefully have mine as shiny as yours soon!
  13. Pretty rubbish to be honest, although I do have to ask why your first impression was to post on the forum, as my first action would have been knocking on the door, there's absolutely no way they can dispute that, and by saying 'me and my wife' saw you hit my car, and we have taken photographs of the damage to yours and mine, it would give you enough proof to point the finger. If they became nasty about it then I don't see any reason why their insurance can't be claimed? Surely its just as bad as being reversed into at a slow speed and leaving a mark? If they dispute liability then insurance can provide ways of having the paint tested. But would deffo be banging on that door right about now, while both cars are sitting side by side.

    New bumper!

Looks nice, i like the air intake part. Does anyone know if the air intake is a job that could be done DIY? bumper off/dremel etc?
  15. Agree, havnt been here long but so far I've been very impressed by the way the forum is run. Usually something you only see in private pay-only forum. I can browse this forum while at work safely because its used by sensible folk and run by excellent folk! Queue someone posting up porn in a reply
  16. Clever little mod mate, well done. My mum would probably cram another tape in on top of it tho, she seem's to still prefer cassettes.
  17. Remember when I was a lot younger and naive and had my first trip to the tuners, I laughed so hard at one of the customers who drove his S14 away with different wheels on the front from the back, much to my embarrassment in front of the rest of the customers and mechanics I was informed it was a drift car.
  18. Might be mate, I usually see that car as I'm driving back from work which is just at the round about near Asda! I'll have a peak tonight, nice looking car to be honest.
  19. Think my brother is friendly with the la vitas owners, he cleans the windows of their restaurants. Only ever seen the Maserati tho, nice car.
  20. Looks sweet, plan to get an American car at some point in my life, probably when I'm a lot older and have the knowledge to restore a car. Most likely get an old Mustang or Stingray. Probably need a mortgage to run it with Mr Browns fuel taxes though.
  21. Yep, he should have gotten jail for that, and fired if he hasn't already been.
  22. Imagine if forward facing cameras were actually able to read the plates of the 3% of road users who account for up to 50% of road deaths... As before - on that road up to 80% of the deaths are motorcyclists. Forward facing speed cameras (as used by the average speed camera set-up) do not "catch" motorcyclists. Its a good point, but at least the cars are taken care of, the bikes are another problem which may take another approach. I watched a program on those traffic cops that go out with stealth bikes and camera's and although the tactics were sneaky, the majority of bikers he caught where doing 100+ and lost their licenses outright. Perhaps they would use similar tactics?
  23. Have to agree with husky really, its easy to get upset when getting a ticket for speeding, as it feels like such an innocent way to break the law, but I'm pretty sure road accidents are one of the biggest killers in Britain, so it would seem fair to enforce it strictly. And even if its a money making exercise, they cant take any money off you if your not breaking the law? Imagine if everyone who enjoyed driving fast was so put off by the speed camera's that they all decided to go to more track days, then the UK would possibly have more tracks crop up, and an even bigger and better track scene.
  24. Not sure Jay, I didn't manage to get a good look, but it appeared to have a different front bumper, looked pretty sweet. young'ish guy driving!
