So if it's to be believed in the other thread all Black Editions have been sold. Where is everyone else? Or are we just the ones that love them so much that we have to come on the net and talk about them with like minded people

No Black Editions left?! Hold out mate, as said, they're not flying off the forecourt, they're not exactly the sort of car for the moment (huge engines, big road tax etc). There will be nicely spec'd ones going through the dealer and I'm sure there are good deals to be had.

Money and buy-back and repair it and sell it on. Unless you have the time and more importantly the space stripping down the car will be a ball ache. I still have parts from cars I stripped 3 years ago, I need a trip to the tip.

In my opinion unless the car is race prepped or a total shed then flourescent colours will 'cheapen' the look of the car. Buy some TE37's, allow £3k.

As said above double sided tape (the padded stuff), don't use glue, it will damage the paint.

Does anyone here actually know the real story of why this was produced? It's stunning, a rich man's dream and fair play to him he did well. If I had £500k knocking about I'd commission Ferrari to make me a new Stratos out of an F430! It is so much more original than going out and buying some horrible Bentley. As far as remakes go it's very very good. Most make a horrible mess of past models.
