  1. Putting this up for sale as I need the space and don't really have the time to go out riding. It's a shame as it's a great bike for those that love downhill biking. I've used it not nearly enough as I should have, it cost me £2k brand new and I'm after £600 for it. 2. I honestly believe financial sanctions on the house hold is the way forward. If found guilty, half the benefits to the HOUSEHOLD, until the community service of rebuilding the damage is complete. If they don’t turn up or get the job done ALL benefits are to be removed from the HOUSEHOLD. By doing this then they have some else to consider for their actions I personally believe this will add to the problem, strip them of everything and it will create more of a problem, its not right we have produced a generation of state dependent kids that don't care about their country. Unfortunately England (not to mention the rest of the UK) is a broken country that cares more about meeting the needs of other countries than it's own. I'm sorry there's civil wars breaking out in other countries, I'm sorry that there is severe drought in Africa but we must draw the line. That comment may seem very shallow but believe me I would love to be able to say help everyone but we cannot and we shouldn't. We must focus on our own country.
  3. This is brilliant! Fair play to him walking up there asking these people. Some just don't give a damn, I bet they would if they were trapped in a car waiting for the emergency services!
  4. I wish I never read this thread. I'm convinced faces are going to pop out of everything now. When I was a kid I had bunk beds that were made out of pine and when I slept on the bottom bunk I used to look at the slats and sometimes the patterns looked like faces
  5. The problem with these riots also shows up the deep underlying problem of racism in this country. It's sickening. Oh and getting footballers to tell these kids how wrong looting and rioting is almost seems comical. Footballers are some of the worst role models out there, if we followed their actions we'd all be screwed.
  6. Great advert for London 2012!
  7. Great advert for London 2012!
  8. Haha what an idiot! Serves him right, you wouldn't cross a road without looking.
  9. That's a pretty sweet job
  10. Haha same! Cracking shed for the money though mate
  11. "that could have been rather expensive Peter..."
  12. I somewhat agree, the only time I have found cruise control useful is when you hit those average speed cameras, I'll wack it at 50 and it gives me peace of mind. Otherwise it's not that useful, in real world situations it's a pain because you have to pull out and other cars pull out on you. It might be useful on a quiet road at night but then without the input into driving the car you might nod off.
  13. Sorry to go a bit off topic guys but can you recommend the best place to advertise a bike? I have a Norco A line full sus I want to get rid of.
  14. The numberplate does actually start with N and ends in GEF but that's my private plate. Anyway after a little more digging I found the book, I'm ashamed to admit it was filed away properly. I just always thought it was in a wallet like you usually get. I'm going to blame my over efficient filing system and the fact that I had too many cars on the go when I bought it. What a plonker anyway its quite good to know the connections you guys have within the motor trade, thanks for your offers of help. I guess you just can't help idiocy
  15. Cheers for the replies guys. I'm really going to struggle to remember where the car had been before I bought it. I think it was up north somewhere although I can't be 100% sure and that doesn't help too much. I suppose knowing the troubles I might run into trying to dig out this service history I might have to turn the house upside down to see if I can find it. I suppose I'm lucky in the sense that I didn't file away the V5 and last MOT with the service wallet.
  16. Do you know if their records are centralised? I bought the car a year ago so I know the history since I bought it but to be honest I wouldn't know which Audi garage it was serviced at prior to my ownership. It's so annoying considering I had the book when I bought the car and now its just vanished!
  17. The unimaginable has happened and I've lost the service wallet for my Audi A3 which has the manual and service book in it. It's an 03 plate TDI Quattro and I'm wondering what I can do to rectify the problem. I normally wouldn't mind if the car was more than 10 years old but I consider the service history to be quite important especially as the car has full service history (audi I think as well) and has 125k miles on it. Can I track it down any way and get a replacement book? Any ideas appreciated. Also what is it likely to do to the value of the car? I plan on selling it shortly.
  18. It's gone up again?! I actually dread to think what each mile has cost in my Zed in the last year. Factor in depreciation from the forecourt, fuel costs, tax for the year, insurance and the ridiculously low amount of miles I do and it's staggering. Still I do love it which is why I'm going to take it out now since it's a nice summer night.
  19. Thats not bad then! Cheaper than a new clutch. I had the same thing in my old golf. I was driving along and bang, clutch pedal to the floor. The actual pedal had snapped. I drove the 30mile home with no clutch. Dead easy when you know how by rev matching. Then had to get some replacement plastic bits for a few quid from VW and reweld the clutch pedal myself. All in all cost me pennys, but could have been an expensive job had the clutch actually went. Have you got a fat left foot mate? It sounds pretty funny. How did you start and move it or was it already moving?
  20. Don't show her this then haha! http://fatlace.com/cars/hellaflush/mazda2/
  21. It's quite nice mate. I always liked the Mazda 2 as a small car, it's got good looks without looking like a girls car
  22. Nice work Rowan! I wish I had the dough to slam an F1 off the road.
  23. But they don't go as fast as the black ones
