My mum as had two a malamute and a siberian. Amazingly loyal, intelegent and protective dogs. But a lot of work as they have so much energy. Kotuko was nearly a wolf beautiful but wild, he hunted and everything killed 2 sheep 4 rabbits some of which he partialy ate before we got hold of him. (The sheep were when he escaped once, farm only asked for value as they saw him and said it was a clean kill. Fortunatly they were very understanding) But when my mum was burgled the police think they fled when he confronted them, they found a couple of kitchen knives dropped in the house so we suspect they chose not to take him on! Truely amazing dogs but demand a special sort of owner, they are not your average pooch.

You may be able to take a speed awareness course. Not sure if its only available for 3 point situations. Given the length you have been clean it seems reasonable to say you are not a habitual offender. And it may help reduce the fine / points. Good luck chap. Let's hope they are in a good mood!

I looked in to an rx8 too. What put me off was you have to thrash the engine to get the best out of it and some concerns about oil consumption and prematurely wearing rotor tips. On paper the RX8 is quick and it has some fantastic design features (love the suicide doors!) And 4 seats! BUT it doesn't have the look& feel of a pure sports car. It depends on your priorities. Anyway I weighed it up and .... well I'm on 350z forum ain't I....

Hmmm you are not alone - someone else who came to ISTS had the same problem - memory fails me who tho. Think they had gaffa taped it down temporaryly. If its a failed component surely its covered under the warranty? id read the small print.... IIRC the trim looks like an arse to change. You may find superglue/epoxy resin wont bond it if its under some strain, unless you could fabricate some sort of repair to the bracket using meccano

Anyone else with a v1 seen a similar problem?

Drilled two 2mm ish holes where the blade joins the uprights (hidden in a gap in the join) should do the job. Cheers chap Anyone else out there with a replica v1 may want to keep an eye on theirs. I noticed before it happened the tips of the wing were touching the boot (normally a 2-3mm gap)

Ok so I had it fixed... perfect job , he cut out a v where the small crack was and a top notch job. Went out today and another crack has spontaneously appeared. But this looks different and in a completly different place it looks like something has pushed it up. Now being a hot day and the N1 being hollow... is it due to air expanding and ballooning the spoiler out? In whuch case should I ask him to drill a subtle hole underneath somewhere to prevent it happening again?

Vredstien ultrac seem to be getting good reviews too. A fair few go for Toyo proxys as well though I'm not sure about their longevity.

How does it actually differ from a stock 03 airbox for example? Does anyone know if it uses a different size filter and will fit without modification in to an 03 engine bay.?
