    Hot chocolate with baileys in....
  3. Thats a very good price! about the same as Nissan charge for stock ones! JDM performance do stock ones for about £70 IIRC - but you have to wait 2 weeks
  4. I thought that cant be right im sure there was a post not that long ago. Its a name that crops up all over the forum. Awful news and a so young.
  5. its accurate to within a gnats testicle. its bloody accurate. one of the best on the market. so believe. Having skimmed a couple of other forums other there are cheaper systems out there. But hunter is thought to be the best.(BMW use it......ill get my coat.....) the kit cost them £22750 i think and came from 3 different countries....
  6. I believe 80 is about right for a hunter hawkeye alignment.
  7. Just been down at Autodynamics in sheffield have just got a new Hunter 4 wheel alignment machine. I was down there today getting some tyres for the missus and they gave me a tour. I was thinking of getting mine done but thought it may be useful info for other members or if a few people are interested i can try and negotiate a deal. Either way they say they have a max of 80 quid but will charge less if less needs doing (proportional to how much work as opposed to flat rate) . But if you book in with them mention where you found out about it cos im trying to persuade them to do us a discount. BTW be warned they have a room full of shiney alloys its very hard to resist.... These are their contact details, and tbh they are pretty good on price and really care about their work. 197-201 Attercliffe Rd, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S4 7XF 0114 2431019 If you are interested dependant on a discount stick up a post and ill ask and see what they say. Cant hurt to ask ;-)
  8. It was the fact that nissan diagnosed it as clicky axel....and wanted a LOT more. Very glad i got a second opinion!
  9. Ok so the zed sounded like an old barge when i reversed it up on the driveway. About 3 months ago i tried to get it done under waranty but as nothing was actually broken the waranty company dodged paying for what nissan said was the clicky rear axle issue.. So when in for MOT i asked my knew garage what they thought. They said drop links and. ... now its gone! If i had gone with nissan and the problem had still been there i would have had a disbute on my hands as to who was going to pay he parts that were not needed! So big thanks to Excel motors dronfield! Drop links 70 quid from JDM and excel fitted em to save me scratching around on floor. And so far. . No creak!
  10. No problem here...... But just tap when too small... But im on the galaxy s..
  11. You should see an increase in fuel economy in cold weather I believe. The only posibility I can think of is that a combination of needing to be rich mixture on start plus demister/time warming up/more stop-start traffic results in higher consumption.
  12. Reptile heat pads deliver a constant low heat and are paper thin. you can even get a thermostat to maintain the temperature. I have a Komodo one and i can sit on it and it will nicely warm my behind without cooking it. They work of 240v so you would need an inverter. hook it up to a temperature controler and it will maintain your glove box at whatever temp you want as long as it has power you could even wrap them round the bottles. heat mat http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Komodo-Habitat-He ... 19b815b993 temperature controler http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Microclimate-B1-P ... 45f56b3017
  13. It is slow but it should have cleared by then I would have thought. On a cool day you should actually be able to feel it is war after its been on a while. But i have a funny feeling it does turn itself off after a bit. Start by checking it is actualy gettign warm if not check the fuse.
  14. Yup celica with a crz nose... Not exactly stunning in the looks but not ugly either. No where near as bad as this offering from spyker
  15. Hello and welcome... love the avatar - rubarb and custard rocked
  16. Fair point vasaline aint to good for other "rubber" - so I think you are probably right on the not too good for long term use... I was using on an old renault 5 GT "deathbox" so rubber seals deteriating were the last of my worries... the lack of safety features and crumple zone being more worrying! Now im off to pulse and cocktails to get some "door seal lubricant".....
  17. Also repels water preventing ice forming sticking the rubber to the car. I used to use vasaline!
  18. +1 I had a similar set on my last car lighting up the exhaust tips, subtle lighting - but if you do it in red its road legal too.
  19. Transparency breeds trust. Why hide the price? I understand prices change sometimes and individuals can negotiate bulk/special discounts but on the whole i would have thought its better to to give a baseline price.
  20. Thread here mitch. viewtopic.php?f=57&t=40917 we may camp as well posibly.
  21. I think we would be up for this..... Ill point mitch this way as well. We might be up for camping possibly.
