Maybe it is a hilarious Japanese Performance Garage who have rich & dumb clients turning up going "make my car superfast". So they stick a red glowing switch into it and charge them a few grand.

Scientific research over the last couple of years has proven that those drivers in Formula 1 who have a seemingly endless supply of Red Bull tend to win pretty much every single time (unless they are Italians in which case nothing can help them). Hence it must be true!

A well-designed spoiler will make quite a bit of difference to handling at speed. I've got a floor spoiler as part of my bumper and I was very surprised by how different the car feels at speed in terms of handling and the amount the rear gets pressed down. Having said that, the majority of spoilers have no aerodynamic benefits whatsoever and are only made to look good and in all likelihood will worsen the car's characteristics.

With the price of insurance these days, here's something I am seriously considering doing: 1. Buy insurance on your car as you would normally, get cheapest quote & whatnot. 2. Go find the absolute cheapest piece of rubbish car (I would pick a 1987 Citroen 2CV), find a numberplate of one online and buy yourself insurance for it for doing no miles + put your mum, your wife and everybody else onto the policy. This will typically come out at the price of a pack of crisps (perhaps a slight exaggeration, but you get the drift). NOTE: this is perfectly legal. There is nothing stopping you from buying insurance on any car of your choice as you might be considering buying it/might want to drive it/whatever. 3. Keep refreshing your 2CV insurance. You might even get a decent discount on your main policy with a multicar offer! Buy yourself a second one just in case too. 4. If you happen to lose your no claims on your main policy or ever decide to buy a second car or anything of the sort, you have a back up set of no claims discount that you can easily use as and when. *** I think I'm gonna go down this route as I am pretty sure this will save me a load of money overall.

I thought it worked the other way round. Instead of trying to win the game, Suarez was out to try and prove something. At the point when Rio slid in, Suarez could easily have picked himself up and gone clear on goal and probably score. Instead he was out there pretending to be in some sort of extreme pain all for show. I think his attitude cost Liverpool a point minimum.

Been on a few trips all over Europe and there's not much to add to the above. Make sure you've got all your triangles, bulbs and whatnot in the car. All rumours of "mental Italian driving", "impossible high altitude passes", "undrivable Eastern European roads" and the like are completely untrue. Decide where you'd like to see, figure out the optimal route and just enjoy yourself

Less thinking - more buying!

Mine always reads quite substantially higher until the car is fully warmed up in the winter than it does in the summer. Perfectly normal.

The big problem is that somewhere around 60-70 english players start a game in any given premier league weekend. Out of these roughly half have no hope of ever making the team because they are just nowhere near good enough (not singling anyone out, but for example Jack Colback from Sunderland). You're then left with something like 30-35 players from whom you're choosing a squad of 23. There really is no choice in players whatsoever with nobody really pushing to get into the team. You go look at teams like Argentina, Brazil, Spain and the rest of them and you'll see dozens of players who would walk into the England squad who are miles down in the pecking order. In addition, all the recent events have meant that half the squad all seem to hate each other's guts. If they get out of the group, they're certainly not making it through to the semis.

So after looking everywhere for some decent wheel nuts, I came to the conclusion that without spending a small country's entire GDP or ordering from a part of the world that has night during our daytime, there isn't really anything available literally anywhere. I got fed up with replacing set after set after the locking key rounds off on its first use and the nuts rust all the way through. So I thought I'd give ebay a punt and look what came in the post this morning. They will be going onto the car on the 18th, and I'll try and report whether they're any good and put a photo up.

As around half your journey will be on A/B roads, I would guess that you'll use up pretty much bang on 2 full tanks - all depends on how you drive really... coast at 60mph behind a lorry or aim to stick that pedal through the floor.

I have fat tyres on my 350z including the fronts and mine does this all the time.

1. The +2 is a very very very dubious +2, especially on Mk1 models. Our supposedly roomier new shape one will not fit any adult in the back comfortably (i.e. journey has to be < 10 miles). 2. Numbers might say one thing, but in reality, the performance is miles apart. I have owned both for a long time and can vouch for that. The 350z wins hands down in everything on this front including the smile factor. 3. Audi's interior, road noise and all that jazz is far far better than the zed. It is also far more practical with a comparatively decent boot and all the small things (e.g. accessible glove box). All in all it depends on what the OP wants out of their car really.
