  1. Yes give me a ring 01883 732331 ext 2 thanks Mark
  2. We feel the DE is a better motor. We can transfer a DE tune across into the REV UP ecu and turn off the DTC that will be required when fitting a DE motor into a REV UP
  3. It’s a DE not a REV UP I am afraid
  4. Yes we carry a rebuilt stock motor. What is wrong with your motor please? The main items that needs needs to be serviceable will be the crank if the crank needs replacing this adds to the cost of the recon motor. exchange engine is £2000 inc vat as long as you engine is serviceable thanks
  5. The weld hasn't failed it has cracked around the outer circumference of the weld. Looks like vibration has caused the failure. I would just repair and add a brace between the resonator and the main pipe
  6. oil usages issues. I would put a fiver on it being piston rings not valve stem seals
  7. I doubt your mark it with a centre punch, maybe using a grinder (stone tipped) and work through the hardness then you maybe able to drill it, but it is hardened on the under-side as well. Why are you trying to drill a hole through a 350Z tappet bucket?
  8. we only use Cobra HFC's for both the 350Z and 370Z
  9. 1500/1800 cold start RPM is normal Revs hanging was a problem on the REVUP motors non of the other models seems to be as bad and it is something that isn't tunable in a ROM file If the throttle is super sensitive it may well of been remapped with Uprev as the stock car is "numbed" in the lower 3 gears when stock this is removed when remapping Sounds an awesome project
  10. We are £650-00 inc vat for Osiris tuner including a good base Calibration
  11. The parts are the same I expect the parts you brought maybe of been a cheaper item that always require extra work to fit , Cobra only list 1 HFC for the 350HR and 370Z VHR never had any issues
  12. you are seeing 100% throttle , it is just how the ECU measures throttle postion with the DBW (drive by wire set up) it uses the 1st 15% for idle control so adding up to 100% throttle same as the GT86 everyone says you arent getting 100% throttle
  13. Only a patch loom from stock ecu header to Link ECU
  14. Sorry :-) Martin! I have a loom made for S8 install in a HR before they brought the S6+ ECU Decided market was too small for the S8 costs. i am nearly done with a Link Thunder patch loom for our HR powered car. That is going to be a far cheaper install not quite as good as the Syvecs but cheaper patch loom.
  15. You can drop the engine in complete with wiring loom as Syvecs have a Set up for the VHR Motor. We will need some wiring work nothing major thou. But as Dave said you really need to change the front composite panel for dual intake.
  16. What ECU are you using? So you are 3.5 or 3.7LTR? good numbers either way.
  17. So they have upgraded the 350Z sensor to the latest style which is good.
  18. Due to upgrades we have a Syvecs S6 and Patch loom for sale for Nissan 350Z (DE and REV UP) Looking at £1600-00 with base maps. Can also fit and tune if needed. Any questions ask away Thanks
  19. I doubt it will be 28Deg C running thou.
  20. The Vortech IAT's will see around 70+ Deg C after a pull on a dyno. Remember the IAT sensor is in the Air flow meter so it is blow through 350Z . On the Stillen on the 370Z it is again in the Air flow meter but this is before the SC unit. 'One of the things we do when we fit a Stillen SC unit is we fit a IAT in the plenum so the ECU sees Charged IAT's in the ECU.
  21. @MartinW The issue is to keep the NATS other than fitting a new ECU is the get the NATS code from Nissan this will be the problem Nissan never want to give the NATS code out we have found. I can try a good ECU in your car with the NATS turned off to check if the ECU is the issue which I am certain it will be if you have a drive to Abbey. The ECU if you buy from Nissan UK will be a straight fit and go as it will come in its virgin form that will code itself re the NATS once fitted.
  22. Try running some toe out on the front around 10min’s a side this will help with turn in You could try running a stiffer rear bar this will help cancelling out the understeer.
  23. Seen this a few times and we quote the same costs as Horsham. Within the ECU there is 2 Eprom , 1 controls fuel ignition etc the other the idle control and the NATS. The Idle Eprom becomes corrupted resetting this also resets the NATS which cant be re-coded cheaply. So we turn the NATS off with a Uprev reflash. Normally this is caused by the Throttle butter flies being opened manually. We advise this not to be done even with the Battery and Throttle bodies disconnected.
