The look like a rip off of BMW 5series m sport wheels
-
Lmao iPhone typo Mines hasn't left the garage and cost me about 3k this month so far

My c2 vts was a pretty wild beast and revd crazy high. Sold it with 6k on clock as it fell apart. Changed to a mini cooper s jcw and I was surprised how much quicker it felt than the c2. Then I bought the zed and although not substantially quicker it was a different type of fast. The feeling of being pushed rather than pulled is a different experience. Just be sensible and you will be fine. It is bad in the winter though if you have no experience of rwd's. Much more experienced drivers have no issues driving in snow etc. Ideally though to enjoy the car fully you'd be looking at 400 a month in fuel at least so you an have a blast at the weekend. It is possible to do a tank in, in less than 100 miles although you need to drive hard. How much are you looking to spend on the car alone?
-
Really The fuel is the biggest part. Servicing I'd say averages around 200 a year depending on mileage. The car isn't majorly expensive compared to any other although will drink fuel and don't like short journeys. Older cars are now starting to show issues though.
-
How much are you looking to spend on the car. Fuel is 110ish a tank of v power now, roughly see 275-300 miles a tank Tyres depends how you drive but budget 1k a year Brakes depends how you drive, average for normal driving 120 a set for 2yrs But remember, older cars will have more wear and tear. An exhaust can be anything from a few hundred to over a couple of grand. A clutch will set you back about 1500 quid fitted. You have to have money to fix it when things go wrong. I was 21 when I bought mines. I roughly spent around 500-600 a month a fuel at first. Tyres didn't last me long, brakes needed changing at 18,000 miles.

I'm with Victoria on this one^^^^ It's about how much you can afford to spend and where to stop. I spent short of 20k on the car and probs including labour etc about 10-15k on top and still not finished. It's a never ending process. Set out how much you can spend and do what you can for that money. Remember how much fuel the zed uses. On track I rarely see more than 100miles out a tank of v power

Can we quote you on that?! aye that'll be right! You certainly shouldn't be in any 'bar' area Neil - you'd just get banned within a day Lmao bronzee, vik took the words out my mouth... Probably not Vik I don't know what you're talking about, I never get into fights in pubs

horrible, look cheap

the problem is alot of cai's show heat soak on a dyno due to not having simulated outside air flow. I have the nismo r-tune induction kit and would never take it regardless. Heat soak only happens when stationary due to the air flow over the engine. ... short ram intake kits carry more heat soak as the sit towards the rear of the engine. Mines sits right down the front pinned against the air hole

+1 about 500 quid a session
-
cheers mate, its a working process, will look mental with the wing etc, need to get the rear cage sorted next

I have a carbon panel where the satnav goes which houses all my gauges, 2 x afr gauges, oil temp and nitrous pressure The kit is expensive if you want an all singing all dancing. I bought pault's old kit with heaters and remote bottle openers etc Buying it all new equates to nearly 2k by the time it gets into the country Ians' kit looks awesome and stealthy, (costs more to install that way) mines is on show and not hidden away. Cool. got any pics? Not yet mate, I have a build thread but its only got some stuff on it. The cars been away since end of august getting done. Going to see just before crimbo to see how she's looking http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=176&t=55844&hilit=Neilp+build This is my build thread

I just asked him about replacement pads - you really don't want to know what the reply was but I still have no clue so will probably not be buying them I always got told to avoid the d2 stuff... even though they sponsor race cars etc i always got told there stuff was a bit shitty

Nah mate I went for aem mate, ame offered at a good price and its running all my heaters etc, all my gauges link to it also, something like this http://www.aemelectronics.com/engine-management-systems-9/series-2-plug-play-engine-management-system-30/?osCsid=ktcif4qkcv93365m9upe0fjrt0 Requires a bit of alteration to work on the zed though. Didnt want to go overly crazy with the spending and this will do the job just fine just now

The gtr brakes are huuuugggee.... and look sweet. The problem is the price of the pads though but with any bbk these will be expensive. On the rear you can still keep the standard brembo calipers. Be very careful not to upset the bias. Too much braking power at the rear could be a bit scary. Try and get a set of cooling ducts fitted as it will prolong the life of the pads and discs and get rid of the heat. I havent got any on mines and the rears have went a funny colour due to heat. Cooling ducts are the next thing on my list.

Advised not to run 100 on standard ecu due to timing issues. I'll let you know the final bill when i get mines back for the 100 shot installation. The ecu costs quite a bit depends which one you go for though.
-
Could restrict required airflow to engine of you do that.
-
Wouldn't track with standard pads and fluids unfortunately...

he only stopped once for 30 secs before the boy went to town on him. Come on, seriously, does fantasy world really have this effect on people. I get it on cod because i camp alot, but thats my playing style. I just laugh at people when they do it. I know what you're saying, it's only 30secs etc, but without trying to sound like a total knobhead - my free time is the most valuable thing in the world to me as i dont get much of it, so when someone on xbox live wastes it he's literally stealing from me... I hate it. you cant pause a game on the ps3 online lol
