  4. but its so pretty when they arent in caves
  5. im on the fence about regretting my plenum spacer. it didnt come with all the parts or insturctions so it buggered up on install and cracked my plenum. then had an air leak round the 6 middle bolts (it might still have a small one) and is so tall that (i think) my strut bar is interfering with my bonnet, I cant lower the bar at all or it hits the engine. should i take it off, hmmmmmmmmmmm
  6. tarmac is reading the thread carbon b pillar covers per chance
  7. Cousins from across the water have this thread and reading it is probably one of the most valuable reads out there for what to avoid! We all make mistakes or buy the wrong thing from time to time. US regret thread for me it was the hiro wheels sungodra now has, i bought them without much thinking and the design of them ended up not being to my taste. Daves done a great job with them now though and they look so happy ending!
  8. so you could possibly unscrew the lock, add some washers and put back on? im not nest to the car so cant have a look just now.
  9. i see i see! you could get hold of a spare hook and get it cut and rewelded shorter as suggested.
  10. have you weakened the boot struts? they must need the pressure lowerin, are they not like a catapult?
  11. thinking of the snap. a mate of mine owns a classic car (cant remember what) but its pretty ancient. In the OC they say the top speed ever achieved was something like 65mph. one day he got snapped for speeding doing 71, he appealed it just so he could get the photo of his car breaking the club record. he framed it and put it up on his wall.
  12. why not cut some rings out of those springs under the rubber stops on the sides
  13. love it
  14. depends on post or pre 06, post is massively expensive while pre is very expensive
  15. thats hilarious
  16. i wonder if its becasue you work in the area it makes you more tuned to feeling the differences than most? also perhaps the roadster feels the difference more? just thinking because on mine when i put spacers on the rays for a very short time it didnt feel hugely different.
  17. people who straddle spaces are asking to get door dings!!!! i wouldnt do it as i know i hate seeing people do it. i just park at the end with my side in the bushes so its as far away as possible form oter cars.
  18. what was it dare i ask the level of fail in choice?
  19. im not a fan of ads on websites but fair play if the site costs you to run and it makes it pay for itself.
  20. you know you are actually not making free money as you are selling them your details they then sell onto marketing companies... the only ones making profit are these companies. If you dont care about your details being sold im sure there are companies that will actually pay you cash for your details. There are far better ways of making yourself actual free money in your day to day life. You would probably love this site www.moneysavingexpert.com great forum on there too
  21. if your pushing the car hard a mid range tyre is bound to let go time to get serious
  22. Highly likely the yanks will have done this, nothing new to them i would guess. As stated, ask on www.my350z.com, but proof read everything you type or they will hurt you
  23. i think its fair to say most people dont track the car and for most zeds a play down a country road is the only "hard" work they will ever see. People shouldnt be scared of purchasing spacers at all. I can understand if you want every millisecond on a track but for normal driving who cares. Im not disagreeing with any of what you are saying but people shouldnt be thinking their zed will drive like a corsa afterward as this is not the case. on the note of my wide tyres, i'd be interested to have a direct comparison with another zed actually as mine corners rediculously well now with all the rubber on.
  24. theres one thing to realise though. after driving your shed the zed is AMAZING, like the first day you drove it all over again.
  25. easily, i got my 10.5 & 9.5 wide 19's in with no issue at all. Take out spare tyre and put one in the rear well. one over the strut brace behine the headrests Tilt the passenger seat forward and put one behind that then one flat on the passenger seat. I think thats right, i have a picture on my laptop at home of them all in there and you can still use the wing mirror
