Apologies, my knowledge of these types of jobs is with more complex cars than the 350z which are a bit more fussy about plonking a new version of an engine in. I'll keep quiet and return to fixing software for the engine swap in the prototypes that just finished but still, why would you do it. you would then want the new interior and the new headlights and the new tail lights etc etc

before i even had a chance to get out my drive 2 went past me I was off for a blast to dry the car off after washing it ***OCD in blade & ***OVV in gunmetal i think although it was v grubby on stoneleigh road about 10mins ago

keep it stationary until you get the right stuff and do it properly. that's what i'd do anyway. As to it mattering... not sure, doubt you'd ever know but it wouldn't sit right in my head.
