  1. Evening all. On my way home this evening I discovered a faint noise that at first I thought was coming from one of my wheels but am not so sure now. At low speeds (<10 mph) I can hear a cyclic noise as if something is caught in a wheel, however at a complete stop with the clutch in I can hear a very faint grinding or scraping sound. I assume this is more likely to be clutch or flywheel related bit I've noticed no change in the biting point. I will of course be talking to Scott at Abbey in the morning but in the meantime has anyone got any experience of this or any bright ideas? Ta muchly.
  2. They all do that sir.
  3. Abbey Motorsports in Oxted, worth the travel time.
  4. [Dexter] Judging by the splatter patterns that didn't happen while the car was stationary. In fact to get that sort of movement with just rain water I need to be going about 40mph so that'll be over 60mph with the higher density 'substance', especially looking at where it has run along the side of the car from the front bumper. Were you following a high speed, open backed ostrich delivery truck? [/Dexter]
  5. Brugal if you can get hold of it, expensive and rare in this country but easily bought in Spain. Mix it with Fanta Lemon in a 1:2 ratio with plenty of ice.. fantastic : Also Kraken rum with coke is another good one.
  6. Did it a month or so ago. It's fun for the price but it's more 'donuting in the car park' than drifting.
  7. Was the puddle behind the front left wheel? The air conditioner will drip condensation in the heat. Sometimes it can seem like quite a lot of water if the air is humid and the air con has been on a while.
  8. Yeah I know. Been so so busy the last week (7 day straight) that I hadn't had time to clean her and was so looking forward to cleaning her today. Gonna go to the car park later and see if I can get them to look at the CCTV. Fingers crossed that they have it on tape! Fingers crossed for you mate.

  11. Easy mate.. gently but firmly pull off the plastic trim then unbolt the weight and pop the trim back.
  12. Looks like I'll be at the show but I won't be bringing the zed. Will be shotgunning in a friends scooby but will come and find you lot while I'm there.
  13. I can take him to the south of Spain and back at the end of May if he's not got anything else booked for then.
  14. May I make a nomination for most pointless post of the year this early?
  15. They've toned it down, saw an article on the prototype a year or two ago with an 8speed semi auto gear box tied to a BMW V12 pushing out 500bhp Still want one tho
  16. 2 slight flaws with your ingenious plan... No1 you would have to drive the vomit/pi$$/$hite laden car to said car wash No2 once there they would refuse to touch it, probably call the local nuthouse and have you locked up Other than that genius 3 flaws, large apes don't generally engage in hit and run tactics. It's guerrilla warfare
  17. The guy should start some sort of 'Big Man on Public Transport Ltd' franchise system Have on on every train, tram and aeroplane.
  18. I google in my spare time Or just read PistonHeads
  19. But how serious will they take my complaint? You never know until you try, responses seem to vary by region.

  21. I can recommend Abbey for work on your zed Worth a few extra miles to get to a garage that knows your car properly.
  22. I know it doesn't explicitly say it but the ad suggests you use the cars provided for you.
