  1. Vibration I'm pretty sure is normal, I know mine does it and if I remember right the original Evo reviewer of the Z affectionately named theirs the ginger tingler due to it. Not sure on the play during throttle changes tho, not something I've noticed myself.
  2. Strangely I find Nick Griffin the most palatable member of the BNP. Now don't get me wrong, I fundamentally disagree with the basis the party stands on so will not be voting for them but compared to the other BNP representatives I've seen he comes across as the most articulate and controlled of the bunch.
  3. I think you're mistaking Cameron for Clarkson
  4. Thanks guys, tyres and service it is then
  5. I'm booked in for a service at Abbey next month and I'm umming and arring about having the uprev reflash done at the same time. I'll need four new tyres shortly (well.. need 2 for the rear and want 2 to match on the front) so really it's a decision between the tyres or the reflash. Tyres can always be done in July instead (assuming I don't get the bill for the engine replacement in my Land Rover in the meantime) and it just seems so damn convenient having it all done at the same time. Not got many mods on the car, just the induction kit and a K2 on the back so not entirely sure of the value in getting the reflash done now. Especially in view of the fact I want to replace the Y pipe and possibly the cats at some vague, undetermined date in the future and I assume it will need another fine tune after them. What are your thoughts guys? Worth doing now or would it make more sense to wait until I've replaced more bits? Ta
  6. There is? Hmmm.. must go and have a nose in a minute
  7. Had exactly the same thing with my sunset and Chipsaway yesterday, as soon as I mentioned the paint code he couldn't back away fast enough. Like you tho, I appreciate he knows his limits instead of buggering my paintwork, he's also put me in touch with a guy that will do it and he's coming to have a nose at the work this afternoon.
  8. Weather permitting it is definitely a detailing weekend. Just got my new Dodo Juice toys through and there are a couple of minor scratches that need some TLC.
  9. Christ.. at that price it's almost worth me driving up from Surrey
  10. I'd send that one to the papers, just to see if they can actually get an official response from the authorities over it
  11. I saw it in 3d and my opinion is that if you miss the 3d aspect of the movie then it's just 2hours+ of your life you're never going to get back. The movie is visually stunning in the right environment but they skimped so badly on plot, direction, dialog, etc that it's simply not worth the time in 2d.
  12. mate Gun Metal and Blade do seem to be the most common colours by far, keep your eyes on PistonHeads and you'll see other colours pop up often enough. The black and yellow ones you're seeing that seem more expensive could well be GT4s, limited edition versions. Also a lot of the silver ones are likely imports (seems an extremely popular colour in Japan) so will be cheaper than the UK cars. Feel free to buy anything regardless of post count mate, the restrictions only apply to selling.

    nismo n1 spoiler

ZMANALEX had some a little while ago, might be worth a PM to see if he has any left.
  14. Sounds like the clutch might be slipping. Although tbh it's tough to read when you're shouting and not taking a breath
  15. This one been put up yet? http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=21850
  16. Not quite right, just requires the right filter and colour correction software afterwards, but the bootleggers prepared to stretch to these lengths will be few and far between until the technology becomes more mainstream.
  17. Agreed, the only redeeming factor in Avatar was the 3D element. If I had seen it in 2D I would have walked away from the cinema swearing profusely.
  18. Depends on the movie you go to watch. I saw a few 3D movies about 6 or 7 years ago and felt the same as you. Then I was dragged to see Avatar recently and the 3D effects were truly spectacular. I was very impressed. The movie itself was crap but then you can't have everything...
  19. Photoshopped, the shadows are all wrong where the lad is supposedly lifting one up.
  20. Always good to see another sunset. I'd recommend taking this as a sign from the automotive gods that you should put a new exhaust on it. I just put a K2 on mine and it's costing me a fortune in fuel, it simply sounds too damn good over 4k revs with the windows down to drive any other way
  21. Yea, he was dead cheery having to wait for everyone to leave before he could get through
  22. Surprisingly no, I almost didn't go as there were about 120 cars signed up for it and I assumed it would end up as a slow motion parade. In the end we had 80ish turn up and the pace was pretty damn quick in places.
  23. Here's the video from the start of last Sundays PH Surrey run, you have to wait until the very end to see the one lonely Z on show. The guy who organised it put a lot of good work into the route but it was really more suited to rally cars than Z's, I spent most of the time hanging on wide-eyed as my rear wheels twitched all over the place. My mate in the scooby behind me thought it was hilarious watching the arse of my car dance left and right over the uneven tarmac. Did feel great to spend an hour or so almost never dropping below 4k revs, although the fuel consumption has gained me a personal note of thanks from the CEO of Royal Dutch Shell
  24. I'm not a phone junky (strange as I'm a tech freak in almost every other way) but that just reads to me that Apple are planning on providing the iPhone with the same functionality that every other phone manufacturer has been providing for the last several years. Feel free to point out if I'm wrong. Like I said, not an expert on phones and happy to be edumacated.
