  1. People can & do get prosecuted & convicted for it. Clicky
  2. Ill get myself a Robin Relliant then Just cos a car will go fast doesn't mean you have to drive it over the limit... if you are going that fast that you don't spot a mobile camera in time to slow down then maybe it tells you something So your that good youve never driven over the limit Having a decent car and being good doesn't mean you don't drive over the limit, it means you don't drive over the limit where you're going to get caught.
  3. The PS3 doesn't natively support all possible codecs so transcoding is needed in many cases. Install PS3 Media Server and a decent codec pack on your PC and point it at your movie/music folders then access your media via the green arrow icon under video/music from your PS3. PS3 Media Server clicky
  4. Was just thinking exactly the same thing, must be something wrong with it.

  6. It says skilled mechanic in the article, not sure I agree tbh.
  7. Would love to do that, but in reality I'd rather pay the £200 unclamping charge than the £2000 unbuggering your diff charge.
  8. The war torn remains of a 12 box of Krispy Kremes
  9. I'm assuming you're not at home then Colin cos I'm not seeing any evidence of snow around me.
  10. Who left their Z parked outside Chequers Lane Garage last night then?
  11. Indeed, it's ridiculous. Took me over 3 hours to travel the 7 miles home from the office last Tuesday. And this morning, during rush hour on the first decent thaw day when everyone is retunring to work some muppet decided it was a good time to set up rolling road closures to transport a wide load. So a 2 hour journey for the same 7 miles in reverse. Morons.

    My New Car!!!

That is absolutely gorgeous! I hate you!
  13. My village doesn't seem to exits on the maps the council use for gritter planning. I also stupidly parked at the side of a road with fairly steep camber and after 10 minutes of having the rear wheels constantly sucked towards the kerb I figured working from home was the better option.
  14. I can generally get better prices on any Canon gear than you'll find in the high streets. Drop me a PM if you want any details.
  15. Hmmmmm... I may well be in touch about that mate if the current plan falls apart
  16. Not sure if we have any poker players here but one of the PH members is trying to start up a regular game on Betfred for those of a gambling inclination, link below: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=210&t=929855&mid=173649&i=0&nmt=PistonHeads%20Online%20Poker%20Championships&mid=173649
  17. Hi guys, I've got an old Land Rover currently hiding somewhere in the wilds of Oxfordshire which needs its engine replacing. The mechanics who have had it for the last 18 months are dragging their heals about sorting it out (I must add the 18 month delay is not due to them dragging their heals, that's a recent thing) so I was thinking of having it transported closer to home and using a local indy to sort it out. I've never had a vehicle transported before so am unsure what the best way to go about it is. Does anyone know if it's cheaper to ask the AA/RAC to help out or just to go straight to some sort of flatbed hire company? Cheers guys.
  18. Which bodyshop did you use mate?
  19. Depends what sort of driving has been done on it. Lots of motorway driving or a mechanically sympathetic owner and you should be fine, otherwise you might want to budget for a new one. My Z has over 91k on it and still running the same clutch with no problems.
  20. About 1230 after you left Abbey, I was in the sunset coupe heading there for my MoT.
  21. Hehe no.. it's because somewhere in my genetic makeup they removed the ability to coordinate handlebars at speeds of over about 15mph. I have a terrible habit of willing a motorbike to turn instead of actually moving my body
