If you're getting a Pioneer don't buy the ICT 29-007, get the ICT 29-020. It works with all Pioneer systems whereas the 007 won't work with the more recent range.

Took me a while to get it too, can't remember the specific combination in the end but it's definitely along the lines of what Husky wrote. I couldn't find it in the manual either, only how to change the time on the Bose which is kind of redundant now.

The DD facia will be slightly too large for the unit as it is made for two SD units with a separator. When you cut the separator out you increase the size of the hole by that much over a DD spec. Looks a bit of a mess to start with . I've got a hold of some leather that nearly matches the alezan interior which I intend to fit into the gap, not got round to doing it yet tho. I doubt you'll use the cage in the install (I didn't) as the central console has its own cage, the DD facia will slot into it nicely. The RCA plugs from the ICT loom should plug into the cable supplied with the Pioneer kit. That is unless Pioneer pull the same trick with you as they played with me and supply a cable without speaker RCA outputs (only sub) and loudly claim this model doesn't require the additional outputs while putting their fingers in their ears and humming loudly over any response I might make. Their customer service sucks. Don't even bother, seriously. I paid a pro £45 to splice in RCA connectors from the higher level outputs. He also provided signal boosters for the lines and my god do they boost the signal. If I turn the bass and volume up (not all the way up, I like my bones to remain in a solid state) the sub stops being sound and starts being a strange feeling of being assaulted by the air from all sides at once.

Not using the iPhone, everytime someone buys an iPhone Steve Jobs kills another puppy. It's true, don't argue. It was bad enough buying an iPod, had to scrub myself down with a wire brush while standing on hallowed ground afterwards. I can't see any reason why you couldn't run the cable to one of the rear cubbies, might have to remove your seats to get the back panel off tho.

I put the ipod connector to the cubby on the central section behind the heated seat buttons, just runs straight past the gearstick/ashtray and only have to pop out 5 screws to release the whole unit, easy peasy

You can buy it from ICT direct mate, just give them a bell. Their number's on the website somewhere.

Not sure if it will affect your model but Incartec have released a new steering control adaptor for this years Pioneer/Sony units that isn't yet available from anyone except ICT directly. I initially bought the 29-007 for my AVIC f710bt but after speaking with ICT found I needed the new 29-020 to actually make it work. Would be worthwhile emailing them for confirmation on your model (info@incartec.co.uk), they were quick to respond and really helpful.

Can't help you with the rattle at switch off but I also get a noise when changing gears at low speed (although more of a clonk than a rattle). I read somewhere on here that it's fairly normal behaviour so haven't worried about it.

Whilst installing my new stereo I've managed to scratch the area immediately surrounding the unit Doubly gutting as Steve sold the car to me in such great condition. The scratch (well, 2 of them actually) is really just visual, there's no depth when you run your nail over it. Anyone else been daft enough to do this and managed to find a product to hide the evidence?

No immediate alarm bells ringing mate. Have a nose through the FAQs section for things to watch out for when test driving it and feel free to ask specific questions after you've had a play if anything's concerning you.
