  1. Got the Pioneer AVIC-f710bt for oodles of connectivity goodness Steve. It's not in yet tho, only arrived yesterday and need a couple of hour of decent light to get it in. Should be done tomorrow morning, at which point I will be able to automatically guide my journey, listen to my ipod, make a phone call and watch a dvd. All at the same time, honest.
  2. Go on, step up and be the first I am sorely tempted, just blown almost a grand on an ice upgrade tho so a bit short right now
  3. I'd be really interested in the results from a 276bhp car if anyone's going to get it done, especially since Abbey are only a short drive downt he road for me

    Odd Adverts

Really not sure what the owner of the white one is up to if it's not a scam. I emailed him and left him a voicemail on the day he put it on PH and never heard back. Prefer the sinset anyway so it all worked out happily in the end
  5. Having loads of fun thanks Steve Stuck with the sticky dilemma of spending my spare cash upgrading the ice or making the car look prettier. Choices, choices
  6. Driving through the backroads and villages of Sussex on Sunday I glanced in the rear view mirror to find a glintingly new Afla Romeo 8C sitting behind me. I was only doing about 60 at the time slow slowed down a bit to get a better look at it when lo and behold he pops the right pedal and pulls alongside me. The guy had the classic aging rocker look (tanned and wrinkled face and long blond hair) and he's smiling at me and waving his hands down the road. Now besides the fact that there was actually oncoming traffic at the time so it really wasn't the best place to be doing that sort of driving, how the hell did he expect me to keep up with his prettied up Ferrari? I dropped back a bit to let him in front as the tractor bore down on him from the other direction and figured I'd have a bit of fun trying to keep up as he put his red rocket through its paces but it didn't take him all that long to disappear over the horizon. I just couldn't figure out whether he actually thought I could give him a run for his money or he was just playing top gun with anything faster than a shopping trolley gti. As a side note, as beautiful as they are I really didn't like the sound it made when he buried his right foot. Far too much scream and not enough rumble imo
  7. Cheers Steve, I'll take good care of her and pop your sunglasses in the post next week

    Need a new car

Knew there'd be something I missed out in my wanted post, edited it to add the 'manual' requirement. Thanks for the heads up anyway Sunset350z.
  9. I've popped it all up in the wanted section but I'm after a GT spec (not silver) and have about £10.5k budget

    Need a new car

ello, I'm looking for Z (shocking I know). I've a budget of about £10.5k and of course want to get the most bang for my buck so the Z seems the way forward. I'd like a GT spec manual but not in silver, nothing worse than trying to find your car in the car park amongst the veritable sea of silver gathered there. Ideally I want one with less than 60k on the clock. Obviously the more goodies on it the better (body kit, exhaust, etc) but I've no problem starting from a base car and doing the work myself. I'd prefer a UK car (although I can't actually come up with a decent reason why after reading the JDM section, just an unreasonable prejudice probably), although if the 'right car' turns out to be a JDM then it's still the right car. I'm keeping my eyes on the forums here, Pistonheads and Autotrader pretty much in realtime but just in case I miss anything I reckoned I'd let you lot know. Cheers Mac
  11. Hiya everyone, I've been lurking about for a while now reading up while I decide what to buy next and I've decided the Z is what stands out the most out of my options. Figured it was only polite to wave at everyone from this section before throwing a wanted ad up Mac
