  1. have you got any of these left? they look im soooooo tempted to get one of these, what you think the cost of getting it sprayed Azure would be? how long does the delivery take?
  2. Just came across the below specs for the standard RAYs 18" rims, and noticed the Offsets +30 for the fronts and +33 for the rears? i was under the impression the Z required between +12 to +22? Front Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 18.19lbs Tire: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: +33mm Weight: 18.62lbs Tire: 245/45/18 I want the Finichi Firenze Sports in black and sliver, or the Fuel 5s, does anyone have these and know what offsets work with the Z i know i need 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 tyres.
  3. my plan is to budget is around £1500. i would like either 19" or 20" rims, i like the Finichi rims, i like the firenze sport in gloss black, as im thinking they would look great if i got the polished lip sprayed up in Azure Blue to match the Z? what do you guys think? anyone out there got a pic of a Z with these rims, that can photoshop the lip to azure blue? what size are they on the black Z?
  4. cheers guys, ill start by checking these options out. what are everyones thoughts on the Finichi Firenze rims? i have yet to see them in the flesh.
  5. Hey guys, HELP..... Im after a new set of rims, my rays are mint, but the tyres are in need of changing. so i thought its time to change the rims, rather than get just new tyres. what i wanna know is: 1. what is the best offset for the z? 2. what size should i go for? thinking 19" or 20". 3. where should i buy from? 4. what are your thoughts about the Finichi Firenze Sport rims? 5. what tyres? i was thinking Toyo Proxes T1R or Yokohama Parada? 6. what size tyres, as i have read about the issues with ESP going mad if there wrong? 7. should i sell my rays? or keep them? if i sell them what should i expect to get for them? sorry for the mass of questions, and before you all start flaming me, i have searched and searched, think ive almost read every thread about rims on here! I know the offset is better the lower the number +12 to +22, but what works best on the Z? also i have read the threads about the ESP going mad once the wheels are changed? is this purely down to incorrect tyre size, or does it vary Z to Z? cheers Rich
  6. bit off topic, but where did you get your wheels from? I want the 20" Finichi Firenze sports matt black with polished lip. would you recommend them?
  7. thanks, all add that to my list of leads to get then.
  8. Hey guys thanks for the info, Thanks Maccaman, for listing that post, promise i did try the search and i did come across that post but it does not give me all the answers i need, i now know i need the following: 1. Double din facia adapter for 06 onwards 2. ICT 29-674 (so i can connect to the Bose system and retain the steering controls) 3. ICT 29-007 (to link the controls to the Pioneer head unit im looking at getting) 4. An in-line booster for the pre-outs (to solve the volume issues) However, Im still a little confussed, and none the wiser with regard to the NAV sound? someone must have replaced the crappy Bose head unit with an aftermarket unit in a car with factory Nav? I just dont wanna spend a fortune on a new head unit, and loose the Nav sound. Does anyone know if the factory NAV will continue to give spoken instructions once the Bose head unit is replaced? Also what if i replace the Bose amp, with an aftermarket amp, and run phono's from the head unit to the amp, would there be useable connections from the Bose amp for the existing speakers? or would i have to run new speaker wires also? I understand i would have to run new power / earth / remote / phono cables. its just running new speaker cables, surely if im not replacing the speakers and just matching the amp to the power / impedance of the existing Bose speakers then the existing cables would be fine? and if the factory NAV does work with a new head unit then it must be connected to the existing speaker wiring somewhere? any ideas......
  9. Hey Guys, I have been searching and searching on here for info on changing the Bose head unit in my 06 zed roadster. Its driving me insane with its constant skipping! I want to change this for a nice double din pioneer or Alpine unit though i have heard a number of people having the following issues when doing this, 1. sound to the factory NAV stops working? 2. Bose amp and sub stop working My main concern is the sound from the factory NAV not working, can someone confirm 100% if this will continue to work once the Bose head unit is replaced with an aftermarket one? Also will the Bose amp and sub continue to work? I will at some point upgrade all the speakers, though to do this will i have to start running new cables or will the existing cables work, and to do this will i have to replace the Bose Amp? Rich
