  1. I've used a mixture of a coat of poor boys wheel sealant, then autoglym hd wax and mines have never had any issues any dust/dirt comes off with ease and looks good when clean.
  2. Other than the bad parking, the car looks great!
  3. I'll give the thumbs up for autoglym. Get a nail brush and really give the cleaning part some time. Wiping excess away Good stuff
  4. This is exactly what I'm looking for but two months too early. I have just spent a tonne on the car and have Vegas coming up. These deals always at the wrong times for me lol
  5. Update ahead of tomorrow's work. - bilstein suspension all round with new rear top mounts. (Couldn't source front except from Nissan who wanted £150...) -new clutch slave cylinder and braided line from Torqen. -plenum spacer from wasso. -car will also be getting full wheel alignment and balancing to go with new wheels and suspension. Hopefully it'll now drive even better -plus I've just cleaned and oiled my popcharger as I suspect it's taken on some dust from the bodyshop.
  6. I'm looking for the upper centre console section. I would like it with the cubby section included. I don't want any with broken clips etc although general colour/condition doesn't matter as I'm planning on sanding and spraying gloss black. Cheers
  7. Yeah that's why I can't figure out why there is no UK suppliers since obviously a lot of people have changed their shocks.
  8. Hey guys I'm about to change my standard shocks to bilstein and I'm wondering do I require shock mounts as I can't seem to find them online anywhere. I had a z3 which had a common issue for the rear mounts going and causing a squeak. So I want to know if they are required on a 350z or is it a different setup? Cheers
  9. I see your point ekona and Alex. However when their main business is through tyres I would expect them to have experience with all sorts of vehicles and body styles etc and solutions to the irregular vehicle requirements. You both know the cars stock are low but not the lowest. I didn't want them to do a job risking the parts of the car. Just attempt it from a more appropriate method than simply putting it up on a ramp. Looking for the easy way out I think.
  10. Yeah I normally try to defend guys like that because they are easy targets but the service and work is so bad. I even said to the guy I've got a low profile jack at home that could get the car up is there no way you can do it without using the ramps? They didn't want to risk the job so said no can't do it at all. Poor show!
  11. I know the guys at kwik fit take a hammering when it comes to mechanical expertise etc. I was dissapointed today however after waiting 50 minutes to get my wheels balanced. They wouldn't take the job because it has the Tarmac side steps on and said that the car was too low to get a jack under. I will add the car is stock height with the steps. Disappointed! Was only using them as local to work and the wheels needed done. Anyone else had this issue with the steps?
  12. I'd say keep it black the contrast is a nice touch imo. Just added pics of mine to my build thread.
  13. Yeah stock suspension and after the side steps are on it leaves just over 3/3.5 inches id say. It's enough so that I have to take speedbumps etc very carefully. Thanks guys for the comments.
  14. Major bodywork update. Now all the cosmetics are complete. With some better pics than off my iphone. Front to back HR bonnet + zunsport grill + mines lip. Tarmac sports side steps + carbon wing mirror covers JDM rear diffuser Nismo v1 wing from RT-performance A completed side on pic All my bodywork was carried out by RM bodywork and I couldnt be happier. The colour match is identical. I can't praise them high enough for the work. Next mods will be bilstein shocks, clutch slave cylinder + braided line. I was going to go tein springs but with the side steps on the car is just too close to the ground now for my needs, any lower would only rip parts to bits. Anyway enjoy guys!
  15. Id quite happily join in when you guys reach Glasgow!

    RIP 911

I hate the thought of all performance cars going the way of auto boxes and smaller turbo'do engines. I understand why but the real driving feel for me is when you and the machine are interacting. I know these flappy paddle shifts are ultra fast and that will help performance but it doesn't mean much to me in terms of feel!
  17. Car looks great. Lovely shine!
  18. 350bhp??? Must've painted his calipers red.
  19. Hahaha yeah kris when we seeing the wing? Gutted I missed this one hopefully make it to the next.
  20. Yeah I noticed the guy looking to put these into production. Would definetly bring the cars look upto date
  21. I think it looks fantastic. Some cost involved though.
  22. They wheels look great I think they suit a 350 more than a 370.
