Nixy, Your wisdom tooth issue sounds pretty similar to how mine was .... General anesthetic is nothing to worry about anyway ... I've been under a few times now for various reasons ... Just found a picture of me which was taken the dsay after I had the extraction ... pretty bad pic but it was about 10 years ago ... It looks like I've got a mouthfull of food .. but it's the swelling ... LoL

I think I had THE Worst experience with wisdom teeth ... well with one in particular anyway. When it first started to appear it was comming out horizontally and causing a lot of discomfort to my other teeth and jaw on that side ... The dentist reccomended that I wait until the tooth had fuly emerged before having it removed ... So I had to wait for about 3 months until they would book me into the hospital for the extraction ... by which time the tooth had started to decay ... so I had to wait another 6 months for the hospital appointment to come around ... and now the tooth was causing me MAJOR pain ... I got tired of waiting for the NHS appointment so booked myself in for an extraction privately ... but luckily a few days before the private treatment I was given the oportunity to have it done early due to a cancellation! I had to have it removed under general anesthetic as it was in an awkward position ... but was so glad that it was finally out!

The time had come around to get the Zed serviced so I gave CS a call to see what he could do .... It was good to know that the Zed was gonna be in good hands as I'm usually very wary about letting just anyone work on it ... They used quality parts and also checked out a few other issues I was having ... Overall I gotta say that I'm Very Happy!

no probs mate ... let us know any error codes that are thrown up when you have it diagnosed ...

I personally use The Digimoto software but there are some cheaper options available on eBay that do the same job without needing a laptop ... Something like this should do the job: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/U380-OBD-2-II-EOB ... 3ef0d29d25 It's probably best to ask if it will definitely work with the zed first ... just to cover your own back

No probs mate ... It did sound similar to the problems we were experiencing .... The sensor cost £68 from Nissan and cured the problem for me .... I think your issue sounds a bit more like the problems Shire was having with his Zed ... from what I remember he needed two sensors replacing ... they come as a pair from Nissan and cost around £130 ... You can actually read the code yourself if you follow the engine reset procedure: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=89 When you get to step 4 of the guide above, you can read the code from the blinking CEL light ... just count the short blinks ... that's how I did it ... Good luck with it

Rossz1 it sounds like the it could be a sensor related issue. I had similar problems with it not starting occasionally and also had the ESP light and Skid Warning light on ... Have a look at the following thread, it might be useful .... My problem turned out to be the Crank Position Sensor, but there are a few different sensors which could be causing your issue. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=27455 Hope that helps mate

I just paid for 12 months Tax a few days ago and it was £215. I've got an 04 UK Spec .... not bad considering my 96 FTO was around the same price!

I too will be in Manchester over that weekend I did plan to watch the UFC too but the ticket prices were extortionate! Decided to have a night out in Manchester anyway since I've Never been out there before ... Just out of curiosity ... how much did you get tickets for? When I checked, they were already upto £260 a ticket! I went to the one in Brum a while back and that was only £50 ... so didn't see the point in it ...

Well the base model is around £47,000 .... so the answer would be No ... LoL But I'm sure the price will drop considerably after a year or two of use ... It does have it's plus points though ... it does 33 mpg combined and around 25 around the city ... and it also falls into a lower tax bracket than the Zed so it wouldn't be £450 a year! Better start saving those pennies ...

Ok just thought I'd give you my thoughts after driving an Evora for an hour ... It's absolutely Brilliant! I hadn't expected it to be that nice a drive but I was very impressed There's loads of power throughout the revs and it felt very light and agile .... It sticks to the road around bends and stops Very well ... Overall I would have to say that it is an Excellent bit of kit ... I would recommend a test drive to anyone who has the opportunity ... I've never really thought much of Lotus cars until now ... it's really changed my opinion! I still Love my Zed though!

They do look pretty damn good ... I've had confirmation from Lotus now thatt my test drive will be happening on the 5th of November from 9:30am ... I think it's for a hour only but should give me the opportunity to test it out ...
