This is what I'm unsure about ... my inital reaction would be to use some T-Cut on the scratches but I've been advised against using T-Cut on the Zed due to the thin paint that's used .... I need something similar but not as abrasive ....

Yeah I hope so too ... just had that side painted recently after a scrape in a petrol station (again completely not my fault). What's the best way to polish it ... in terms of products and method etc?

It just feels like one thing after another at the moment ... Just got the car sorted at the CS Meeting a few weeks back and had all the dents removed etc ... So the car was looking mint! Anyway driving to work this morning and I heard a fairly loud bang on the drivers side ... Hoping it was just something I might have drove over I just carried on as normal ... I just parked up at work and noticed that there were 3 scratches!! Hopefully they won't be too noticable once I've had a go at polishing them out ... but things like this really p!ss me off!

Are these a direct replacement for the older style light clusters or do they require modification of any sort ... I am tempted to upgrade the lights on my Zed too but just not sure what's involved ... Thanks

How much were the replacement CV joints by the way? The clicking is getting more frequent on my Zed too and I'm considering doing the same ... Thanks

Yes that it is the Belgrave Road store ...I'll have to use the comfort bays from now on ... I know parking next to the trolley shelter is not a good place but it was the best available at the time ....

I had an incident like this just this morning ... I immediately thought of this thread and had to take a picture ... I popped into my local Sainsburys at 9 this morning so that I could avoid busy car parks etc and found myself a nice spot against a trolley shelter ... so I parked up pretty close on the passenger side thinking that atleast that way the passenger side would be safe and also provide more space for people parking on the drivers side ... Anyway after what must have been about 5 mins I come back to find this: To make things worse the lady parked opposite found it very funny watching me trying to get back into the car ...

Damn! That sounds like a very lucky escape ... I always drive with the assumption that all other drivers on the road are idiots ... not to say that I haven't done some stupid things in the past ...LoL

Here's my list ... it's not as extensive as some of the lists here but I usually keep a car for a few years before I change ... Age 19 : Honda Civic EG 1.6 Esi Age 23 : Mitsubishi FTO 1.8 GS Age 27 : Nissan 350z Choosing the next car is going to be the hardest decision ... not many cars out there that appeal to me without spending a fortune!

Can't say I've had any problems with sore legs yet and I use my Zed daily ... I still think it's a very comfy car considering it's also a lot of fun to drive ...

Good move .. I currently have the Birdview system but after seeing Nurrish's system last weekend .... I'll be replacing it as soon as possible ...

I had something very similar happen with my Zed ... Someone reversed down the drivers side of my car in a petrol station causing quite a big scrape and dented the door ... I eventualy went through insurance as after 3 months we couldn't agree on where the car was to go for the repair .... Good luck with it ... Hope you get it sorted soon

I'd have to agree with Shire on this one ... I love seeing the envy on Boxter owners faces as they drive past ... Plus my boss owns a Boxter and everyone at work is always saying how my car is much better than his ... LoL

77 mpg is impressive .... LoL I can see this becoming a bit of a competition ... however that is gonna be very hard to beat! Maybe next we can compete on who can get the least mpg ... Hahahaha
