  1. Great thanks Pete and everyone else.I'll order both belts today and get them fitted! Muchas Gracias
  2. so just order a new belt then and go from there? Is a nissan belt the way to go or a decent OEM one would suffice? Don't mind whatevers best for the car.
  3. Obviously I guess I order a new belt. By the looks of things I need to get under the car and release the bolt underneath the pulley? Put the new belt on and tighten the bolt with a tensioner. Would it be best to get a professional to put the new belt on? cheers
  4. The air con stopped working about a month ago(i don't use the car often) and the air con had previously been working for 11 months.
  5. yes I have a gt4 which would be the DE. Do I presume what i'm describing is the air con pulleys? Should one of the two pulleys move without the belt or is a new belt is all that is needed?
  6. Afternoon and thanks for any advice. My air con hasn't been working of late (it blows hot air) and I decided to look under the bonnet today. Now I'm guessing there should be two belts just behind the radiator? One I guess is the fan for the engine which cut in when I started the engine(i'd drove around 15 miles)when I checked. This has about four pulleys and a belt. Now there looks like another just below to the right with two pulleys and NO BELT.(i'm presuming this is the air con?) I turned on the air con and the pulleys didn't turn.Obviously I guess a belt should be there and its snapped off? I presume one of the pulleys should spin when the air con is turned on even without a belt? I turned them by hand and they moved freely? thanks again. Chris
  7. I'm looking for the side skirts and the lip. I already have a spoiler so before I get that fitted and painted was looking to source the other said bits to do all at the same time. Cheers, Chris
  8. can I ask what lip and side skirts these are?
  9. I found these studs(i've asked zmanalex if he could supply some and he said not to bother with them and buy some new eibachs) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5641f92e6c I was going to put these spacers on the rear to begin with. This is a useful comment from another forum.. "Those studs will be ok for 20mm spacers but will be too short if you then fitted a 25mm spacer in the future (as post 1), but frankly you'll have a nightmare replacing the rear studs ( i fitted system 4 on my rear wheels) otherwise you will end up removing the drive shaft and hub to change studs. The front was easy as it had a cut out to replace the studs whereas the rear does not." Aaaah I'm still not sure what to do!! Cheers everyone
  10. These are the spacers I think i've mistakenly bought. http://www.350z-uk.c...eibach-spacers/ Can ANYONE please tell me how and if I can fit these to my rear GT4 as i'm getting hacked off trying to find information for the last couple of hours! Otherwise there going in the bin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Chris
  11. I've purchased some used eibach 20mm spacers which I intend to put on the rear of my GT4 to get some idea of what the stance will be like. If it looks OK i'll purchase some 25mm and swap them round from rear to front. On fitting I guess its fairly simple.. remove the rear wheels, insert the spacers including the nuts, return the wheel back on and replace the old nuts. Does this sound correct? Anyway if this is correct the spacers i have came with NO nuts. Obviously i'd like to purchase the said nuts. Where would be the best place to buy these? I know it sounds an obvious question but i'm not particuarly technically minded but i'm learning! Thanks in advance for any replys! Cheers, Chris
  12. I realise zmanalex supplies the fittings AND the parcel shelf but will not sell the two screws on there own!!! I already own the parcel shelf!!
  13. Anyone any ideas where I could source the two fasteners that screw this in?.I have the parcel shelf just need the screws. Bit of a long shot but worth a try. cheers, Chris
  14. Cheers for the reply Sam. Unbelievably I went into a body shop today asking him if he could open the unit, clean and put back together.(expecting a heavy price tag!)He then looked at them and said thats on the outside. He then took out this electric turbine sponge lol and it came off a real treat. Couldn't believe it.I've asked at least 10 people and they all stated it was on the inside. Definitely a WIN today. Anyone know the best product to use to keep them nice just in case it returns?he said it looks like somebody had used the wrong product on the lenses. Whats the best product to use to have a go at it again if it returns? cheers, Chris
  15. This is the best I can do at the moment. There should be a hole either side of you're boot. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/8977/svrc.jpg
  16. Hi Pete, I have a parcel shelf if you're interested.Good nick. Not sure if they fit JDM's though Cheers, Chris
  17. I do quite a bit of share trading. The best thing you need is HOMEWORK.Read papers, director dealings, general economy, everything you can possibly think about the company you are going to invest in.It is betting, but it can also be calculated betting. For instance I bought 636 shares in whitbread 2.5 years ago for £16 odd and now there hovering on 32 pound. If you want to practice use Yahoo's fantasy trader game. You can have you're own portfolio and have a 100,000 to play with. http://uk.fantasytrader.yahoo.net/ Study the market day by day, minute by minute and you may get somewhere. You'll need to have alot of time on you're hands! You will need more than £50 to play with but get some practice first. Any questions give us a shout. Chris
  18. When you say removed the damaged plastic what do you mean by this? Not the lens itself I presume? The reason I ask is that I seem to have internal smudging inside the lens and i have no idea whatsoever how to remove this?
  19. woops! Anyone any ideas/contacts on cleaning the inside?
  20. As the post states I have misty lights on both sides(one worse than the other) internally on my GT4.I bought it like this a year ago and there is definitely no leek whatsoever. My only option is to somehow get the glass off(some have mentioned putting them in the oven and loosening the glue, take off glass, clean and re-assemble).This is something I wouldn't be comfortable doing myself. If I could find someone to do this then I would be happy to do so.I'm in oxford if anyone has any recommendations. Or would something like these be any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350-Z-RIGHT-HEADLIGHT-03-05-NEW-/121145404403?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c34d42bf3 Seem a bit cheep but thought i'd ask the question. Thanks in advance. Chris
