I've been to this guy myself when I was looking for my new 350.He's based in dudley near birmingham.He advertises on gumtree and ebay alot.He basically buys 350's and adds a grand on top for good measure.I travelled on the train and he picked me up.I was pretty hacked off as the car he tried to sell me was a cat d reposession and the exhaust was blowing at the usual area and the orange hide interior was a mess.He didn't even have the log book and the one single key was some crappy one made up by someone.I pulled him down a bit in price but decided to walk. He had an import GTR on his drive.I asked whose was that motor and he stated it was his and it had taken a few 350's sold to afford it. I went home with a loss of time and train ticket. Personally I wouldn't bother with this guy but he seems to be making a decent living out of it, or was at least..

Mine hasn't re-appeared for about 4 months so not sure about that.

I wouldnt worry about it.After all its been OK since december.Sometimes something under the seat sets it off like a bottle or something.Mine came on twice over a 3 month period and I just reset it doing the 'ignition tap dance'.Not appeared since.Hope this is of help.

Why do I feel upset?I was bored at home and realise that my chilli red 350z(WJ54KPO) is back on the road. It was written off as a CAT D as I clipped a curb at about 60 mph.Its insured on the MID car insurance register. It was my first 350z and I absolutely loved it. Fond memories I guess.I had a great time in that car. I knew I should have bought it back from the insurance company. I still don't know why i'm upset.Maybe its like having a beautiful girlfriend,forcing to split up and letting someone else enjoy her company.(sorry for being so blunt) I'm not sure. Just thought I had to vent.Maybe I should be happy shes back on the road...

Impossible to do a Re-Seal on Zed headlights...Not sure what you mean about a headlight re-seal.. Its not impossible and many have done it.I've searched long and hard and this has been covered before several times here and on the US forum but they've always been home diy jobs.Usually involves an oven and a re-seal. Yes i've tried polishing the outside.Its definitely on the inside.I've seen several zeds with this problem.Sometimes only one light.

Hi all, I've posted before but not much luck as i'm not technically minded. I have a black GT4 that has headlights that are misty/smeared inside.I bought it like this.(I got a small discount)There is NO water or condensation entering the light now.I have no idea how this has happened but it's really detracting from the cars looks and is really starting to annoy me.I don't see how the smears etc have got in there unless the units have been de-assembled before.I doubt this to be honest as there is definitely no leak. I realise that the only way is to remove the headlights and put them in the oven/heat gun and clean and then re-seal or replace altogether.I don't feel comfortable doing this myself. I don't really see the point in replacing the headlights at around 800 quid plus labour(used) as there is nothing else wrong. Is anyone willing to do this work for me?I'm in oxford and am willing to travel 60+ miles each way to get this sorted.Maybe even more. Much appreciated, Chris

I have one of these in my boot of my GT4.What the hell is it? Its just sittting in the boot and i'm not sure where to put it lol..I've just been chucking it around with the shopping..Didn't realise they were quite sought after.. Does it fit under the strut brace? All i have is whats in the ebay listing but doesn't seem to fit anywhere? Am I missing a bracket or something? lol..

Evening, I have a black GT4 and 3 weeks ago my factory fitted rear parking sensors completely stopped working. The beep when I put it into reverse has also stopped. Am I right in stating that only 350z's with sensors only beep when put into reverse?(i've owned two 350z and they both beeped when put into reverse although they both had rear sensors) Should I take it to a garage as reversing is a right nightmare in this car and i've sort of got used to the rear sensors activating or could it be something simple? There is no switch to turn them on or off. Any advice appreciated. Cheers, Chris

I don't think the car was abused as it only clocked 7 miles from pick-up to return and I put the rev limiter on at 5500 revs but who knows I guess.I doubt the rear parking sensors going 6 weeks later are connected.Sounds like some sort of connection issue? lesson learnt on the parking issue! Anyone know the best thing to do?I guess take it to a specialist. thanks chris

Thanks for the reply.Now the beep doesn't work when I put it into reverse although the rear warning light works. Any ideas anyone? Cheers, Chris

Evening, I left my car at one of those Gatwick parking places where they pick up you're car and take it to a storage area while I was on holiday.Cheap but personally I wouldn't do it again. Anyway when they dropped my car back to me at gatwick the air bag light was flashing.So I drove home hacked off and then did the airbag reset ignition palava.This worked fine.The light then came back on yesterday(6 weeks later) and I reset it again.All seemed OK until I started reversing and the rear sensors dont beep anymore! Any ideas would be great. Cheers, Chris

i've already dealt with this guy about a month ago, same car, same picture, same story.. He'll say his car is in ireland etc and needs a deposit to take the day off and bring it to you. I just wound him up until biting point and then gave him what for.I won't tell you what I said to him lol.. It's a scam.

As the title states need both front headlamps due to some sort of previous broken seal. The seals are ok on mine but as they come as a sealed unit I may need to replace. If anyone knows a decent mechanic in the oxford area + 100 mile radius that would be willing to take on the challenge of taking the lens off both lights,cleaning the inside of the lens(the easy bit) and replacing the seal then even better. I don't think I can tackle this job myself. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Chris
