Why can`t you use the zed all year round? It`s perfectly capable. Drive it, enjoy it Couldn't have put it better myself. It's fine to say you can use the Zed all year if you are living in Surrey and Kent, but in the real world we get snow and Ice more than 1 day a year

tyre sizes are in mm, rims are measured in inches so 275 is not a rim size as such - I'm guessing it's a rim width that would normally take a 275 tyre in a lower profile than the 245/45 standard fit. Personally, I can't stand the stretched look
