  1. Has anyone used blackboots (http://www.blackboots.co.uk/) to get their wheels refurbed before?
  2. or California Sage I'm thinking of putting them on the Aston just for a laugh obviously Well, if you need someone to drive the Aston around while you admire the lovely sage wheels, you know where to ask! Sorry, I have a driver, the name's Shire, James Shire Looks like he was in a fight for who gets to drive!

  5. Ha! I like your honesty. I think i am going to go for it. If i hate it i can always change it back.
  6. I am going to get my wheels refurbished next week and i thought i might change the colour. I really like the look of Simons wheels http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=46018&hilit=refurb+happiness but i was hoping to get your thoughts on what they would look like on a black zed. My worry is that with a dark car it will look like me wheels are always dirty. What are your thoughts?
  7. I am thinking of putting my car up for sale again at some point. Mileage is 75k thought. Is that a deal breaker?
  8. No worries, also its all about eastside Boi!
  9. Hi, Sorry if this is a bit cheeky but we are running out of ideas. We are trying to find a good Web applications developer to replace a team member who has gone travelling. We have been searching for a few months now and all we have had is rubbish. Thought i would post up here on the of chance that any one is looking for work. The job is based in Staines, please PM me if you would like to know more. Steve

  11. So it would seem that Charlie Sheen has relinquished his grip on sanity. For anyone who has not been following, the internet has provided a musical synopsis! The result is pure WINNING!!!!
  12. Just a thought about fob vs ignition locking, sorry if its stupid or has been covered. The button on the door has three settings, Open, closed and neutral. Why not have the mirrors fold on fob lock while that button is set in the neutral position and then allow open or closed as an override. Would that work?

  15. No idea! is it an easy thing to do or am i best waiting for the next service?
  16. Good luck with that. I eventually stuck a Alex Thompson Racing business card in between the dash and the screen and it cured that particular squeak when nothing else would. Zmanalex even fixes squeaks. Someone gave me some "Wonder Material" a while back. You put it on your dash and then place your sunglasses upon it. Apparently, no matter how hard you drive the sunglasses wont budge! Since the 350 already has a place for my sunglasses, this material got folded up and shoved between the dash the screen. Now that squeak is nowhere to be heard, it truly is a "wonder material!"
  17. So it should not be too noisy then? I dont suppose it could be something simple like an oil top up or a change?
  18. Say what now? Its a 2006 car, has the new interior and all that jazz.
  19. I have finally got the courage up to ask the question as i fear the answer will cost me lots of money. For a while now my car has made a whining noise in first a second gear. If i accelerate (When the engine is warm) to around 3000 - 4000 RPM in first and then take my feet off the peddles, i can hear a whining sound as the revs fall back down. The same is true for second gear although the sound is not as loud here. If i dip the clutch the sound persists so i guess it must be something to do with the gearbox or the transmission. If i drop down from third to second at high revs i get the same sound. On very cold mornings the sound is very much louder until the car warms up (Obviously i am keeping the revs low until the engine has a chance to warm up). There is no effect on performance and other then the odd time when its a bit notchy, the gear selection is fine. Any ideas? Preferably ideas that don't cost a lot of money to fix......
