  1. The idea to boycott petrol stations will never work, but i have come up with something that will. We get everyone to boycott one petrol company, say BP, until they lower their prices. As soon as they lower their prices then the other stations will be forced to follow, right...................................................
  2. Thanks for all your advice. I will get on it when i have the chance. Am i right in thinking that the damage is done now so there is no rush in fixing it? As well as the cutting agent, i have also invested in this: Its a mobile Surface to Air missile site that will follow my car around and protect it from those berry eating, acid pooping bastards!
  3. So, a few weeks ago i cleaned my car, spent a long time about it too! Of course the next day there is a epic bird poo on the bonnet, brilliant! Had a very busy week so it had to stay there for 5 days, but last weekend i had a chance to give it a wash. The offending poo came off with the pressure washer and a though no more about it. When i came to dry the car i noticed that there was a clear outline in the paintwork. Thinking i must have missed it in the washing process i gave it a rub with the drying cloth, no joy. With a smile on my face i went back into my garage to get the clay thinking "This will shift it". Attacked the bird poo with clay and still had no you at all. In the end i resorted to a light bit of polish and that still have no effect!!!!! I have two questions: 1. What the hell had the bird been eating?!?! 2. Any ideas how i can get rid of it? Thanks
  4. Servicing is anywhere between £100 and £300 depending on where you go and which service you need. Dealers will do them though you are better off finding a specialist as dealers are a bunch on bandits. Also, 350s have a timing chain rather then a cam belt and this does not need to be replaced. In the real world i see about 350 - 400 miles from a tank. The tank is 70l and that figure is 75% dull motorway driving and 25% "fun" driving. I reset the car computer over a year ago and since then my average mpg is coming back at 25.4. They are a fantastic tourer and brilliant on long journeys. On any journey they feel special. I dont see any real reason to get rid of the space saver. If you are worries about boot space then this is not the car for you. Interior quality is better on post 06 car. Having been in a good few alfa's i can tell you that the quality of the material is not as good but that materiel is more likely to stay in the place its meant to! Also, welcome!
  5. A troll is someone who sets out to wind people up on forums, facebook and so on. I am 25 and got a 350 two years ago. I was not responsible enough for it and one of the first things that i did was spin it and stick it up a verge. Lucky for me, i was fine and there was no damage to the car. As other members have said, its mainly your safety that people are thinking about. At 17 you can't have had too much experience behind the wheel and experience is a big factor in being a good, safe driver.
  6. This will sound like i am taking the ****, but i am actually being serious: Do you have your full licence yet? I would hope that no insurance company would touch you! I am not trying to be mean but a 300hp V6 is not the sorta car that you should be learning to drive in. You are 17 and you say it has "always been your dream" to do up a 350z, can you quantify always? 1 year?? 2 years? Assuming that you are not a troll, i offer some genuine advice. Take the money and save it for a few years, learn to drive and get some experience, maybe even use some of that saved money to see a bit of the world. Then, when the time is right, pursue your dream!
  7. No thank goodness! NWOBHM Rules! (Brownie Points for anyone who can tell me what this stands for). New Wave Of British Heavy Metal!!!!!!!!! And no i did not need Google. Saw Saxon 2 years ago at Wacken in Germany. It was some anniversary and they played for around 3 hours \m/ Brownie points awarded Glad to see that there are supporters of proper music on the forum Original lineup still going. Takes me back to the days of Tiffany's and The Granary in Bristol. Monstors of Rock and Reading...........class festivals! Does anyone remember the flying plastic bottles full of whatever anyone could fill them with? Now was thinking of a trip to Wacken some time. Is it worth the journey? Wacken is AWESOME!!! Here is a video of the road trip that we made last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?hl=en-GB&v=AGjO-PxIkaM We go every year and usually stop off for a night in Bruges, two nights in Amsterdam and a night in Hamburg before the festival. Its by far the best week of the year!

  12. Fair weather gal' = Convertible who loves shops galore = there is a massive massive shopping centre just outside london called Westfield, but have an accident in me and you will be sore. = Its made of fibreglass and does not have all the safety features of a normal car. Put your foot to the floor and see a zed left for dead. = Much much faster then a zed and i am sure you can work the rest out for yourself!
  13. You have it sarnie, its a westfield! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1276906.htm
  14. Hahaha, not a TRV. Its not really a kit car but neither is it a well known brand. The name has very strong links to shopping.
  15. Just had my wheels refurbed, cost about £350. I am pleased as punch!
  16. Can no one really work it out? Or is it just that no one really cares?!?

  19. I am a fair weather gal', who loves shops galore but have an accident in me and you will be sore. Put your foot to the floor and see a zed left for dead. My noise is divine, but i know not refine-ment but for under 10k, you can't have it all ways. What am i?
