  1. Last few days before it goes on autotrader/pistonheads........
  2. Thanks for all the nice words about my car. Its really nice to hear. The way that i look at it is that these cars choose their owner, so mine has just not found the right one yet! On second thoughts, that does sound a bit gay...........
  3. Thanks for all the interest. Lots of people looking but i haven't managed to clinch a deal yet. I am getting a bit bored of cleaning the car every few days for people to see it so next week i am going to drop the price on the piston heads advert by £500 to £12,500. I would love for this car to stay on the forum so if there is anyone on here looking, you can have it at this price a week early! Car is now taxed till April but the mileage has gone up to 68,000 Thanks for looking.
  4. Well the reason i asked is that vodafone have totally crippled the handset with their own custom version of the OS. If O2 have done the same then you are much better off flashing the handset with the standard Samsung OS. This will wipe all the data and will fix the problem. The other advantage is that you will the any updates much faster. Its not a hard process and is really worth the extra hassle in the long run. Let me know if this is something you want to do and i will find you a guide!
  5. What about this one? Not too keen on it being an automatic but does seem cheap thinking about mileage/age http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p Where are you finding these cars!?! I am selling my car at the mo and these add make me look like i have had too much fun with a crack pipe! Anyway, that is a very nice looking car. If you are seriously looking at this car tho, i would also recommend testing driving a manual so you can gauge the difference.
  6. That looks a little too cheap to me...... Plus the advert looks like its written by someone just learning English. If i am honest, i would be a bit suspicious.
  7. I thought this was brilliant! I feel a little bit sorry for the people on the list that they are the Innocent (Depending on your view on piracy) bystanders. The media industry needs to learn that the internet is bigger then just their movies and music. They should be working on new business models to best exploit the internet rather then trying to shoehorn it into their existing business models. The internet revolutionised the way we purchase goods but what you didn't see was retailers fighting against it. No, they adapted their models and as such have prospered (in some most cases). IMHO, the days of consumable media (Cd's and DVD's) are numbered. Take CD's for example. What is the first thing you do when you buy one? You burn it onto your PC. The only place i ever use CD's is in my car. Good work 4chan!
  8. Thanks, she has been my pride and joy! As i sent to another member today, while it annoying give the Gov an extra £200 in road tax, it is kinda put in perspective when you are spending £80 to fill her up!
  9. Hey Mate Thought i would answer a few of your questions: ~You should not find it cramped at all. My dad is 6ft 6 and he fits in no problem. I am 6ft 2 and have loadsa room. ~There are two types of 350, the standard and the GT. The GT comes with those little creature comforts that make your life better such as heated seats, leather, cruise control etc.... ~The GT4 is the main variant but there are others which have different paint and so on. The GT4 have a more powerful engine (which was made standard post 06). ~The cars post 06 have a nicer trim level and are generally a bit more refined. ~As far as i know it is not possible to remove the strut brace, but you will be surprised at the amount that you can fit in there. All of this is leading up to my car (which is for sale) http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=41467 Feel free to have a look. Hope i have answered some of your questions.
  10. Mine is too, if your interested. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=41467
  11. I took these today! I will update the sale post when i get a chance.
  12. I wish it was in the Bournemouth branch of Meridien as it's only about a mile from my house. I can't afford £17k though so there is no point in me looking. My local Westover branch have got a 2008 and they want £19k even though it's not got sat-nav. It was £21k until a couple of weeks ago which is outrageous. I think that they have had it since at least last winter as it appears to be covered in ice on one of the photos. I really don't want to spend over £15k so this is going to be a struggle! I still think you should buy my car. She may have a few miles on her, but has been very well loved.
  13. Yeah, i did see that car and i have already been speaking to them. Need to sell my car first really as i dont wanna go down the part exchange route.
  14. Thanks for the advice. I have updated my post.
  15. I have owned this car for a year and a half now and i have loved every second of it. A year ago i was dumped out of the blue by the girl i had been in a relationship with for three and a half years. That came as a surprise, but the bigger surprise was that when i started the drive home (all broken hearted and stuff) that this car was STILL able to make me smile! However, times change and so do jobs. My new job has a fair old commute attached to it and i have begun to feel sorry for my Zed. It spends most of its time ferrying me up and down the M4 and while it does this with aplomb, its just not the life that a car like this deserves. It longs for roads beginning with "A" and "B", for an owner who has time to go for for a drive at the weekend just because! So it is with a heavy heart that i have decided to sell her. The Basics: ~06 Reg (March) Nissan 350z GT ~UK Car ~Black bodywork ~Black leather ~67000 miles on the clock ~Full service history (Either at Nissan or Japex) All the usuals for a GT: ~Rays Alloys (minor curbing if you look closely) ~Cruise Control ~Bose sound system ~Heated and electric seats and mirrors ~Brembo's ~Bluetooth ready ~Climate control The Non-standard extras: ~Birdview Satnav ~ECB Drilled and grooved disks on the front ~Yellow Stuff pads on the front Useful information: ~The car passed its MOT in March with no warnings or advisories. ~It was also serviced (P1) by Japex last month. They told me that two of the drive belts could do with replacing so i am doing they are doing that weekend. ~The tax runs out in a few days so i will put another six months on. ~The car had the front and rear bumper and the bonnet resprayed three months ago to get rid of any stone chips and a mark on the back where someone decided to park a trolley in Tescos. ~I have all the invoices from any work that was done on it, all the books and logs and so on. I Also have all three keys (Two remote keys and one valet key) I am sure i have miss some things out and i will add them when i remember. I took these pictures over summer before the respray: Please excuse the state of the exhausts, i ran out of the polish i use If it stops raining long enough for me to clean her this weekend then i will post some better photos, for now you will just have to trust me that her condition inside and out is excellent. I would love for this car to go to a forum member so i am putting her on here first. I am located in Reading and more then happy to answer any questions. If you want to speak to me on the phone then drop me a PM. Price: £12,000 no offers. Please feel free to get in contact with any questions. Thanks for looking.
  16. Yeah, i am in the same boat. I am putting too many miles on her at the mo and if i dont sell soon, she will lose all her value.
  17. I will be selling an 06 with 67k in the very very near future if that's of any interest?
  18. In their defence, they have had the front bumper resprayed now. The rest of the car its still a bit shite tho. What is your criteria?
  19. Hi Guys Just thought i would mention a car i went to see on saturday so no one else wastes their time with it. This is the car: http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uvl/popup.jsp?currentaction=searchresults&e2w=44982&sort=5&did=44982&partner=TMG&postcode=gu280jg&dropdowntype=uvl&configfile=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/44982/44982_config.xml&max_records=200&e2w=44982&miles=1&csslocation=http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/dealers/44982/44982&id=201036367765056&distance=0 First a word to describe the service i have received by the garage..... SHOCKING!!!! They have not once called me back despite assurances that they would. They really do come across as not caring whether i buy the car or not. I know the value of the car is small compared to some of the other ones they are advertising but still. I arranged to see the car on Saturday at 11am. I turned up at 11.10am and was told that the bloke i had been speaking to had gone home because i was late. They guy who showed me round the car really knew nothing about it and i have to say, was pretty disinterested in the whole thing. Its not a great feeling when you have driven 50 miles to see a car and you feel like there person selling it to you is doing you a favour just by being there. My mood was not helped by the fact that the car was a dog. It was advertised as having 18,000 miles on it but it actually had over 28,000. The previous owner had bolted a huge black radar detector onto the front and the back of the car (Just drilled into the bumper) and hacked the switch into the centre console. Ugly as hell. They also must have been a pretty large person as they leather on the seat was ruined and all of the bolsters on the seat were totally gone. It was like sitting on two flat plans of wood. Also i think the bluetooth module had been removed in favour of some kind of line in type device. Anyway, rant over. I just didn't want anyone to waste their time with this car or the clowns that run the dealership.
