2. Well it was either figure out how to get the bike in the zed or cycle back from Brighton.......
3. I am doing the London to Brighton at the weekend so i have cleaned the whole bike up. There is only grease where there should be grease!
4. On occasion people have laughed at me for driving such an impractical car. Well today the joke is on them as I managed to fit my bike in the boot with absolute ease. You always see people with their more sensible cars struggling to figure out which way round that bike rack goes or how the back seats fold down where as I had no such problems. To get the bike in the boot I simply opened the boot, took out the boot mat, the sound proofing and then spare wheel cover and the car was ready. On the bike I effortlessly took off the wheel, then the seat, then the pedals, then the chain, then handle bar and then the forks and popped the whole lot in the boot. Simples!
5. Also, only 24k on a 10 year old car with 4 previous owners?!?!? So they all decided to do no more than 2400 miles a year........
6. My company has just been bought by Cisco so i might well be joining you on those courses!
7. Nicon2k, Iv spoken to your before remember? We passed each other in chalfont st Peter and you said it was the first time anyone has spotted you! I do remember now. I would have remembered at the time had i not just spent 14 hours at my desk!
8. The roads are shocking. I was in Zambia last year and all joking aside, the roads were better there!
9. I live in St Giles and have a black 305z and another guy on my road also have a black 350z. Both cars have rays but mine are a lot darker than standard. I have a stock exhaust and I am pretty sure that he does too. I did have a hole in my exhaust a while ago that was fixed so maybe that was it. I passed the village green 3 times around 8.30 as i had to go home to pick up my forgotten phone.
10. I was up the Cairngorms last weekend which still had some decent snow on the top half of the mountain - full cover from top to mid stations. I would advise going early if that's where you are headed as it was mobbed due to the small number of runs open - I think they stopped selling passes around mid-morning on Sunday! Not been able to get abroad this season due to lack of funds so need to get my fix from the sh1tty conditions here unfortunately I was in Tignes third week of Jan and the conditions were amazing. I have just had a quick look around the webcams for Cairngorms, Glenshee and The Lecht. Depressed is the word i would use........
11. I have my second ski holiday of the year at the weekend! Sadly i am going to Scotland and the conditions are arse!
12. Sorry if this is a repost or too offensive for a family forum!
13. I had mine done at MyAlloys in Basingstoke. They did a fantastic job. I think it was £70 per wheel.
14. My car is now up on auto trader @ £8000 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201204444856634/postcode/HP84ES
15. A number of times, while queuing to get onto the M25 at the M40 junction i have seen this tool in a battered MG ZR skip the queue by taking the tw@t lane (See picture). Next time I see him do it i am gunna block him off!

17. Hi All. I am having one of my alloys repaired and I need to provide them with two wheels for them to match the colours. It is not practical for me to leave the car with them so I was hoping to just drop the wheel(s) off and drive my other car around for a few days. Now that they need two wheels, my plan of fitting the spare has gone out the window as i only have one! I don't like the idea of leaving the car on the jack as my drive is on an incline. I was hoping that someone close to Staines or High Wycombe/Amersham might be able to lend me their spare wheel for a few days. I will not be driving anywhere, the car will just be sat on my drive. Sorry for the strange request
18. I might well do that, although the zed will likely still be sporting the super cool spare wheel while the alloy is being fixed.
19. Hi All I am in the process of buying a house and that has forced me to sell my 350z. I love this car and may actually cry when I see her go but I have to be a adult (Or so people keep telling me). Here is a bit on info about the car. The Basics: ~06 Reg (March) Nissan 350z GT ~UK Car ~Black bodywork ~Black leather ~84000 miles on the clock ~Full service history (Either at Nissan or Japex) All the usuals for a GT: ~Rays Alloys (Recently refurbished to slightly darker than standard) ~Cruise Control ~Bose sound system ~Heated and electric seats and mirrors ~Brembo's ~Bluetooth ready ~Climate control The Non-standard extras: ~Birdview Satnav ~ECB Drilled and grooved disks on the front ~Yellow Stuff pads on the front Useful information: ~The car passed its MOT in March with no warnings or advisories. ~All servicing while I have owned it has been done by Japex, a well respected specialist. ~The tax runs out in April. ~The car had the front and rear bumper and the bonnet resprayed around a year ago to get rid of any stone chips and a mark on the back where someone decided to park a trolley in Tescos. ~I have all the invoices from any work that was done on it, all the books and logs and so on. I Also have all three keys (Two remote keys and one valet key) As mentioned above the alloys have recently be refurbished and are all in perfect condition (I curbed one pretty badly yesterday so I am having that refurbished this this week). The rest of the car is also in very good condition, yes there are a lot of miles on the clock but this car has been very well looked after and has never given me any problems. In fact this is easily the most reliable car that i have owned. This is the only photo I have since i refurbished the wheels: An "Arty" shot with the old wheels (The number plate in this photo is my personal plate which has now been removed): And an inside shot: As I mentioned before, I am getting curb damage to one of wheels fixed this week so I will hold of advertising it elsewhere for now. Please drop me a Pm if you have any questions. The price is £8250. Thanks for looking
20. Let me start by saying that I am a road user in both my 350 and on my bike. I have only been cycling seriously for a couple of years and can remember well the sheer terror i faced when going out on the roads for the first time. In the time I have been cycling i have had a number of "Close encounters" and bumped into my fair share of A$$hole drivers, but i have never felt the need to bang on any ones car. The only situation that i can think of where banging on a car would be necessary is if you really do not think the driver is aware of you, in which case i am sure even the most loving car owner would rather have a small scratch on their car than be responsible for hurting someone. It is also worth mentioning that since I have started cycling I am much more aware of cyclists and always give them more room. I am sad to say that a large part of the problem is the cyclist themselves. A large number of cyclist on the roads honestly believe that they are not only above the rules but also beyond reproach. Failing to obey the basic rules of the road such as jumping lights and undertaking is against the law and if you break that law you are taking the risk. I would like to see more bikes on the road but I think the self righteous, law breaking douche bags that ride them need to take a step back and take a look at themselves.
21. I am going to the first time in November. A bit late, i know. But will let you know how I got on when i get back.
22. They say that the only reason the neutrino was travelling so fast was because there was another particle behind it putting it under great pressure. They have called this "the Audi particle".
23. Sounds good. I will be around in Chalfont for the next few months, just give me a data and i will let you know if i can make it. Enjoy your trip!
