If you mean the wheelarch liners, they do stop a lot of water getting into the electrics As you look at the front of the car its two bits of plastic either side of the front grill.

Hahaha, something like that. I will get it next time tho! Had the RAC out, they had a look at the car and took it for a test drive. As far as they can see everything is fine and there is no damage! Well done nissan for building a tank. The car is going in for new breaks anyway next week so i will get them to have a proper look then. But for now the only thing that needs replacing is my underware.

So, driving you work this morning i turned left onto a road in the usual spirated fasion. All was going fine untill a cat jumped out in front of me. Naturally i slammed the brakes on. Unfortunetlly for me, my size 14 clown foot slid off the break pedel and onto the accelerator. So rather then slamming my foot on the brake i slammed it no the accelerator. End result was that the back of the car came well out. I over corrected and the car changed directons and was pointing at the other side of the road. The front wheels of the car hit the curb and mounted it and then the car came to rest halfway up the verge. After i had finished shi**ing myself i backed the car off the verge and drove the last 100m to the office at about 5 mph. I have had a look round the car and their is no obvious damage. The tyres still have pressure and i cant see any dents on the wheels. the bumper is still attached and aprat from being a bit dirty seems fine. there are two bits of plastic the have come off behind the bumper but they dont look important. I have the breakdown services comming out to check it over and i have my fingers crossed that i am lucky. What sort of things should i be checking tho? I really wasnt going that fast when i hit the curb but would rather be safe then sorry. Thanks

Was actually kinda nice having a car that you didnt care about. Although it was very prone to stalling, which was odd since it was an automatic!

Well its sorted now! I was gunna take the door cards of myself but i couldn't find a guide of an 06. So using logic, i called the RAC out thinking that if the door card was broken, at least i wouldn't have to pay for it. The RAC bloke was a lovely chap who took the dooor card off and the plate behind the door card. At that point he reconnected the switch and gave it a try. Low and behold it started working and has been working fine ever since. He swears that he didn't actually do anything! It will prob break again at some point but for now its working, which is great! Thanks for all the help.

Had this today with my drivers side window. Only diff was that it was fully down at the time. Took the door cards off and the plate that holds the regulator, gave it a try and as if by magic it started working again. No idea what stopped it working. Might be something to try tho.

Let me start by saying that i home that i am doing something very stupid. I had both windows down on my car about 5 mins before i set off the let all the hot air out. I locked the car out of habit and the alarm went off. No big deal. I then set off. After driving for about 5 mins decided to put the windows up. The Passenger window went up fine but the drivers window will not go up! I went back home, stoped the car. lock and unlocked the door, set and reset the alarm but stii the window refuses to move. I had a quick look at all the fuses and they look fine. although i wasnt sure which one i should be checking. All the other stuff on the drivers door is fine too like the mirrors. I have even tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it but that did not help. Really need to figure out what this is as i cannot lock my car and i an screwed if it decided to rain.
