It has 2 plenum spacers fitted! Maybe that is why it is so powerful! He does however say it has uprated cams and a few other bits, but maybe thats going abit ott, as if the engine is out the GT4, then that was a redesigned engine, so maybe he is getting abit carried away.

So what is the real reason Alonso is not racing in Australia then, has anyone found out? Im sorry, but i dont believe what we are being fed from McLaren, their press report is far too long and 'detailed' to be anything other than a cover up for something else. Why does Alonso not remember the accident? The whole high winds thing is pretty rubbish. There were reports of burn marks on the car bodywork that correspond with a rough location for something ERS related, which the team have been having problems with. Truth is, i doubt the team know exactly what happened, but I suspect there is something more going on. Id love to see Alonso on the grid for the season opener, I am genuinely gutted he is not going to be there, I think he is one, if not the best driver on the grid, and is always exciting to watch.

I still cant get over Matt going out without Matt, thought they went everywhere together! Pritchard-You will probably never heard back from the supplier, as they will not want to tell you its a pain to fit, and if they dont, and it is, then you will send it back to them and have words. So if they dont say anything, then you buy it, then its win win. I wonder if it is 'made to order' so not refundable.

10-4 for Sly, he fitted my coilovers and must say was very impressed. Down in Whitstable again soon, so need to get the car booked in for an alignment check, as discovered that the knock neither of us could find was coming from the front subframe, where a previous garage had replaced the bannana arm bushes a few years back, 2 bolts had come loose. Also nice to see someone close to MK, mini meet maybe?

Thing is, its nice to have them removable, so its easier to polish them up. However, if they are not there, then they are impossible to polish up! lol

Be interested in seeing what you think of that set up, sounds like a good route, will save you money over coilovers too. Only thing will be that you wont be able to adjust them if you wanted to do a track day or anything like that. But if your not bothered then thats fine.

For sale is a Stillen Y pipe. Been on the car for less than a year, and was easy to fit and never gave any issues. Can supply it with the gasket too if required. Looking for £180 with collection from MK10, unless buyer arranges Next up a Scorpion Exhaust,non resonated. Been on the car a few years, and it had an inch added to the mid pipe to make it sit right, as i was not happy with it as standard. Welded by a pro, not me, and never gave any issues with leaks etc. In good but not perfect condition, though the bits you can see polish up nicely. There is a dent towards the front underside of the back box, though this is not visible once fitted. Looking for £180 with collection from MK10,unless buyer arranges.
