  1. I love crap talking!!! Top gear, autocar and what car right next to me... Dropped the psp in the bath once...and i always have a shower ever since..
  2. No worries m8. cheers for the input!
  3. Anybody??? 3FIDDYZ you v got pm!
  4. v v Shame you cant get rid of that front number plate...
  5. dude... i am sure you will love it!!!
  6. Thanks 3FIDDYZ for the info... It appears that andid had probs with the haltech after all??? So what price would i be talking about? It looks like haltech could be anything from £1000 bto £1400ish??? do you know who would do the tuning in the UK???
  7. FI will be on the plans eventually (end of next year if all ok) and i will be needing the haltech then???
  8. As most of you know i have got a 309 roadster....with a nismo exhaust and nismo dual intakes.... But i need 20-30bhp (could do with 100bhp but i wont go FI yet as i may be getting a GTR from next year)... So the plan is to get the best after market ecu....which i think is the haltech platinum... And i would appreciate your help on where to buy it from, how much and where to go in england to have it fitted... any other mod you guys think would help with performance??? mods that cost lets say 500quid and give 2bhp should be out of the question unless they can make the torque curve fatter than an old greek lady's ass!!!!

    New Brakes

I have got dixcel on now with matching pads and titanium shims front/ stock shims rear. plus front cusco lines and motul 660. The whole set up is very nice on the road, nicer than the DBA 4000 series i had before. But more info when i finish with my 2 track days 2nd and 28th of nov. between ebc turbo grooves and DBA 4000 i would say that the first were a bit better on the road but faded a bit quicker on the track...plus they looked quite

    New Brakes

+1 turbogroove wont last long...and DBA wont either...take it easy during track days....the first ones lasted 2 track days before they get warped and the second ones a full track day and 4 nurburgring laps before they get cracked...then again it could be me whos a bit aggressive on the track.... The EBC ones were defo better on the road. Had them with DS2500 pads. They deffo last longer when on the right way around though, dont they, well DBAs do anyway Absolutely!!!

    Lipped discs...

am i the only one who laughed at the stupidity of that No I did too!! Is that a civic money saving idea Jerry? One thing on the discs (that is happening to me at the moment) is that the disc will start to get a little rough like sandpaper and this (I am told) will start to degredate the pads and wear them away quicker... Someone correct that if I am wrong!! Just looking around now to find the best deal on a set of pads and discs... May just replace the front pads and discs for now... I think he was talking about planning them (or planing them...pls forgive the migrant)...when they get overheated and the steering starts juddering... that removes the lip as well but i have never tried it and cant comment... I have seen front disks on a seat toledo 1.6 that had 3mm lip each side which is minus 6mm thickness and they were just fine... I'd rather just play it safe and buy new discs - not much else on the car to help you stop except the crumple zone +1 Its tyres, brakes, suspension.... You have got to be alive to be quick!!!
