As you know guys i am a happy owner of a Nismo one so i want to sell my 08 OEM exhaust. Its a cat back but unfortunately i v got no pics as its at the garage. Its in top condition only about 17 months old and it only needs polishing. If anyone is interested let me know. Dont ask how much....i dont know how much they go for....i ll keep the post up till tuesday accepting offers. I ll be posting the highest offer so that you know. Tuesday 12 at night is the deadline. These guys are great! It was Hull nissan that fitted the brakes.... They only fitted the cat back nismo. Didnt touch the O2 sensors at all. His writing isnt great but its clearly P2AOO O2 sensor/ circuit range-perform smth cant read it./ banh 7 sensor 7

The aggressive or less aggressive set up is obtained by the direction of the slotts on the face of the rotors. What we are referring to here guys is the direction of the fins between each face of the rotor. The fins must be facing backwards as per the image that I posted up otherwise the rotors will run far to hot and crazing will appear on the rotor face and the transfer of thermal energy to the callipers will be excessive resulting in the fluid boiling, melted piston seals and dust covers and discolouration of the callipers. Also without Ti shims this transfer of thermal energy will expediate. Chris, further to our conversation today, I may have sourced Ti shims in the U.K and hope to send them out with the callipers. Just double checked with the pic Alex posted...they are fitted the wrong round all over!!!! I am off to the dealership tomorrow!!!!! Suppose i can wait....but how safe is it to wait 2 more weeks when my brakes can let me down at any time???? God i am right pi**ed off!!! Got to go out...drink...and forget!!!!! All in all 2 Gs for the bloody brakes!!!! Now i remembered...i am skint....i cant even go out!!!!

Zmanalex sent me 500ml for mine i think...

After i had the nismo exhaust and air intakes fitted i started seeing the CEL light bright yellow!!! The code is P2AOO from the O2 lamda sensors...any ideas??? I think its got to do with those extensions Zmanalex was taking about....

Now then... Unable to do anything.....front calipers proper f....d!!!! The seals were burnt.... So ordered a set of front ones as well.... Now, is there a chance that the calipers were gone before i have the DBA disks fitted 3 months ago and this to have caused everything??? I do believe that the nissan guys didnt check the calipers given that i overheated and destroyed the brembos and almost did the same thing with the EBC disks..... If you can have a look at the pics guys i think the discs were fitted the right way round...you can check it from the positioning of the slots... Last thing i need shims or smth for the pads....is it adam that does those titanium ones??? I need them for friday...

Its been known for a long time that the std airbox (06+ especially) are the best intake for performance if you are running an NA stock-ish Zed. Remember, Nissan know their stuff, they know how much air the engine needs, and until you take it well out of its comfort zone (ie stroker kit or FI), the std box with performance filter will be the best bang for buck going. However the noise of the open filters is awesome, and once moving, I'm not convinced that the sealed airbox will give much better performance than enclosed as we saw in Andy's thread i completely understand both of you....but why would nismo make something that decreases performance??? Its like Brabus fiddling with a merc and making it slower!!! I want the boxes back on now!!!

Picked up the dixcel carbon brakes today with the pads....plus the motul 660...now waiting for the calipers....all going on tom....cant wait!!! Many thanks to DMS and Zmanalex!!! Excellent service!!!

Only watching the vid scared me to death!!!! Needs loads of ball....s to go over the uphill straights flat out when you cant see the corners after them....even when i knew i could, i still lifted off ages earlier..... Did it in 10mins 2 secs in August....that was with a full boot and an average sized passenger....oh and the ESP on!! I v ruined a maserati there...wouldnt risk it again...and 2 yellow flags...and loads of understeer as the car was 'tweaked' to go on and off the ferry... There was an orange coupe Z with english number plates (private if i remember correctly) and the old style bonnet that overtook me as if i wasnt there...twice i think!!!
