It was a ferrari experience at silverstone. nothing in depth....but the guy was great and as i was advanced comparing to the others he did tell me lots of things....i wouldnt say i am a race driver now tho....

its on both front disks....and slightly on the rear...i may get in touch with them tho...

Motul brake fluid (that rf one) was used when i had them changed at 17500mls ish....the whole system was flushed. cool down lap is a lap with almost no braking. if you go too slow they wont cool down as there is not enough air. and i know better than use the handbrake on hot disks me thinks.... mallory park guys is really hard on tyres...which means that after 7-8 laps of drifting round the hairpin and the parabolica the tyres turn into mash.... and then you have to stop!! I was thinking that the ESP could mess the brakes up as it constantly applies the brakes and it doesnt let them cool down when driving daft on a track....but the ESP was off!!!!! in fact its always off!!!!! I dont remember what series the disks are....got them from envy...and the EBC previously from Phil... i did tell them tho that i wanted brakes for track days....and i never asked how much.... 22500mls ish...brembo gone, ebc turbo groove gone, DBA gone...plus pads and fluid each time...and on top of that clutch and flywheel as the clutch was about to die...oh and 4 full sets of tyres....

After destroying the brembos in a single track day at oulton park i did my homework... Both DBA and EBC were new. i even followed the guide here to bed the pads in! And on the track 1st lap is heating up breaks and tyres, second lap build some speed up, then lap till the brake pedal starts feeling soft, then 1 or 2 laps cooling down. Oh, and i always give the car more than 20mins to cool down.... I suppose my driving style is aggressive...but i think Steve can confirm that i love following the racing line...even if that means hit the kerb!!! Oh well....i d better look around for bbk then.....how much did you say????

The pic is from when cold. I am using ferodo pads DS2500 with not much left on them...had the full lot changed at 17600 miles and now i v got 22500. These are the DBA ones....i had the EBC turbo groove ones but they lasted only a bit longer.... At the ring i did 4 x 2 laps with 30mins in between and as i am not that familiar with the track i was braking way earlier!!! Mallory park is not exactly cadwell park is it??? The front left tyre is gone but its only got 3 proper braking points and that was from 120-125mph to 60-70 at most!!!

WTF!!! Just spotted this..... After 8 laps at the ring and a full track day at mallory park.....you can see the cracks on the front disks!!!!

Took the car to the car wash on Saturday...and problem sorted!!!!

nope guys...if i go really slow its sounds as if something metallic is catching on a certain point while the wheel is turning round. i am off to have it checked out... btw does it need a nissan garage or any one i trust???

I heard the noise for the first time after a great day at cadwell park many months ago. Then i forgot about it and the car was serviced without the dealership spotting it. Some weeks ago and after another fab day at mallory park it got much worse!!! Its easy to hear mainly with the hood down and at low speeds, its a strange noise as the front left wheel rotates...gets faster with speed but not louder...like having a stone on the tyre but i suppose more mettalic... Have used 2 sets of tyres since the first time i heard it and a new set of disks/pads... Apart from that after mallory park on steady breaking it feels as if the brakes bite and let go...like braking on a push bike with a wonky wheel!!! i get no vibrations from the steering wheel tho...and the handling still feels fine....i think....

Photoshop smells so much sometimes i can taste it!!!

standard i don't think the sound is that great, well not inside the car, but once added exhaust and air intake it is tres good couldnt agree any more...but now its awesome....still not quite like my ex V8....

As a matter of fact recent researches have found that patients can actually spread the virus for as long as 5 days after they stopped having feverand not 3 as it was thought before!!!! It is an otherwise normal mutated flu virus...as it is the case every year...the only problem with this one is that it can get complicated with a type of bacteria that cause pneumonia in which case the otherwise 50% death rate (of pneumonia due to pneumoniococus) becomes about 90%!!! (swine flu complicated pneumonia) There are some other things but i cant really be bothered to type it all.... In any case dont worry....just make sure Lucy takes her antiviral medication...vitamins and fluids...and i am sure she will get better soon....

11????? Never got anything more than 8.8mpg on a track!!!!!! Only town driving is 13.smth now and on the motorway i never average more than 23mpg.... I would swear that after fitting the nismo exhaust and air intakes fuel consumption has got worse....it used to be over 14 around town.... But then again i love the sound so much that my ultra heavy right foot has got even heavier!!!!! Oh well, as i always say, cars and women are for pleasure....so the more fun you have with them, the more you need to spend on them and vice versa!!! And good fun never comes cheap!!!!! None of your MPG figures surprise me after reading about your brake and tyre usage! V funny......

Congrats m8!!! However i think you should just salvage that little banger so that mine is the only one!!!!! Why not keep the Zed and get yourself a little mile eater like a honda civic??? Old used one for the work commute and the bain...cheap as well....

Worth every penny guys....only realized it after having it fitted...on full load and above 4000rpm sounds amazing.... On motorway speed and 3000rpm its a bit annoying....but then again mine is a soft top...so i just put the hood down!
