As my colleague states above! Max dose for ibuprofen is 2.4gr for adults which means max 400mg every 4h. you can take max 3gr of paracetamol a day as well which means 500mg every 4h or 1gr every 8h. and you can combine them if you want to. ibuprofen is the NSAID with the least gastrointestinal side effects but that doesnt mean there arent any!!! painkillers in dentistry are used for 1-7 days. Neither me or any other colleague i believe, would recommend anything on a thread or over the phone as a thorough medical history check is needed to do so. Thats because although you can buy those painkillers over the counter, they are still medicines and as such they are prescribed by us. Go and see your dentist and speak to him/her. I am more than happy to help as well, if you dont mind driving to hull. I will be here all weekend but for sunday morning when you will find me at the Yorkshire Z meet at Xscape!!! and possibly still over the limit!!!!

Im lost too Oh right...nissan only fitted the parts....and fitted the disks the wrong way round....disks overheated...cracked...boiled fluid...calipers knackered... after about 9 pages I'm not not so confused... so nissan fitted something the wrong way and it broke, so how much value did that carry and how much did they charge you for the work? It would be nice (was told never to use should) if they could pay you back the cost of the parts that 'they' wrecked and the fitting.... , one could say you shouldn't have been gone out and sorted it out yourself. Make some calcualation and put it on a piece of paper. Then take that and your thoughts to the senior manager in there and work from there. It would be nice if you got something back... A. Thats why i took the car there before i have it repaired. then i will box all the old stuff and they can have a look. The thing is that DBA disks, ferodo pads and fluid where about £800 if i remember correct (got to check my bank account)...but now i need 1k used calipers as well...dont ask how much they charged me to fit them then.... stealers price it was!!!

Unfortunately there is no death penalty for these things....i wouldnt mind the islamic law either....like chop their hand off in the city's main square!!!!

Dixcel disks, matching pads, motul 660, 4 calipers roughly 2k with fitting about 100 quid. I got some titanium shims as well....but thats me being paranoid now!!!

Been to see the nissan guys yesterday....the mechanic that did it is not there any more (how strange) but i spoke to the manager.... he seemed quite worried and understanding, he asked me what i would be happy with and a copy of the fitment instructions as it will go higher than him...he had a good look as well and offered to put the new brakes on for free.... I obviously said no thanks but i dont quite know what to ask for...the whole thing cost me well over 2k and still the calipers on all 4 corners are second hand... I am having the whole set up fitted tom and then i am off to see them and give them a copy of the instructions Alex posted here. What should i ask for? i am not the type of person that feels comfortable about these things...but do you not think that they should pay a part of the bill??? something like what i paid for DBA disks, pads, fitting them and a part of the caliper cost? I am wondering whether just 4 new calipers from them and nothing else would be better as i will at least have new calipers this way and it will be easier for them do deal with the whole thing. I dont want people to get into trouble for smth that could have happened accidentally.... Mind you they did some paint work that wasnt good at all and i paid for them to increase the ride height but they lowered the front instead so i had to do it myself in the end....

I must admit my right ankle needs warming up....once warm i v got no probs....mind you i like wide shoes and i am a 10 and a half...so i just slide my foot to the right a bit... if i proper heel toe then my braking doesnt feel even....i suppose a different pedal would help... but then again i quite like the fact that on every day driving i never accidentally hit the brakes while accelerating....

I bought mine new in 2008 and never heard of them!!!! Maybe they are scared i ll wreck it.....

245/45 are more expensive than 245/40 as well... i am on my 3rd set of ps2s...which is on the way out as well... the tyre shop guy said smth about back order the other day for the 45s but i didnt pay much attention tbh....just told him to go for the 40s all round again. never had issues with the 40s...and i remember Phil saying its ok as well...the speedo is 7mph off at 80mph according to the road angel and about 3-4 at 50 tho... but even the price of the 45s is frustrating...especially when you are doing track day work... if you find any 45s let me know about the price....good luck

Spotted loads on the M62/M60 sat/sunday...mainly grey and gun metal..common as dog s..t i thought i saw a red/purple (ladies here help me with colors) one as well going opposite on the M60 Plus i saw one on a recovery track in Manchester...it was grey....

I am afraid guys things are about to change in the legislation regarding nitrous oxide since there is no happy medium in our actions!!!! As you know laughing gas is not illegal in the UK (possesion and use..administration to people is regulated)...but since about 2007 there is a new fashion in clubs and festivals in the UK and all over the world (ie Megaluf), the balloon fashion!!! I wont go on about the effects and potential risks here although you are free to ask...or google.... However there is an increasing health and safety issue from deaths already and as a result changes in legislation will be imminent. The problem for us is that NOS is one of the worse greenhouse gases and highly dangerous for the ozone layer. Its actually worse than CFCs. Which means that no matter what, the new legislation will affect the use of NOS in cars!!!! A scarcely used 30 sec fix in cars will be over because some thick, uneducated, immature kids need a 30 sec laughing fix!!!!! Arrrrggghhhhhh
