  3. Hi lads, Think I've stumbled upon a car sale scam. To keep it short and sweet: 1, person lived in EIRE now moved back to the UK with a 2002 Z that's still EIRE reg. 2, Selling now in UK to EIRE for 3.5k 3, going to use 'ebay' as a middle man. This stinks scam and just want to know what to do next?
  4. eh not entirely true. When I first got it with std ecu I'm not sure what mileage I was getting (never bothered checking I think) now when I've got Haltech platinum 350z ecu I got it tuned with E5 and (ethanol 5%) it gave me the pre value and after I got it retuned (last week) I now get the new value. # it might be due to three other things too: (making the egine easier to breath) new Kinetix SSV manifold new BERK cats new custom 2.5"*2 exhaust system. (two pipes from catback) The tuner did make it a bit 'lean' (I think around the normal driving conditions for me! lovely!) Need to figure out how long it will take me before I actually make back the price for the tune
  5. lol so I've not reason to miss them! thanks.
  6. is this an inside joke that only people with +1000 posts get?
  7. whats that in normal terms, i'm not very eurofied, need it mpg, kmpl is just french to me Its not even europe its japanese stuff hmm so is that l / km.... better go and check! before tune: 6.4km/l = 18.0788mpg after tune motorway speeds (130-140) 14.4km/l = 33.8709mpg after tune a bit of a mix of both 10.2km/l = 23.9919mpg I'm happy with those nr's... and thats by no means 'slow' driving.

  9. after I got my car retuned it now gives me: 10.2 km/l instead of 6.4km/l... need to do a few 'normal' drives to get a more accurate consumption but it looks awesome! motorway cruising (130-140km/h) I had 14.4km/l !!!! amazing!
  10. hmm might be a scam the car is now gone from carzone but the owner contacted me... might be worth a look
  11. i ll keep that in mind! How are they doing on the car mate? Give us a report back after some abuse!
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum! It's an import from JDM market thats been written off? you might be better getting one straight from there yourself if thats the case for a cheaper penny thats not been crashed? Mine has not got any special work to under the car (as the scandianavian countries do they put this weird looking dark 'tar' stuff under it) They got salt on the roads in Japan too so I wouldn't worry about it like I would if I got a car from the states.... Saw this on in IRE: http://www.carzone.ie/search/Nissan/350 ... annel=CARS not sure what that would cost you to get over, I've sent a Q to the guy... could take of the RIM's and brakes and stick on my car G'luck!
  13. Hey, nice job! Just saw that you got two 'devices' between the two rear speakers. What are they? Just realized that I got only two gaping holes there!!!
  14. welmoe to the forum +1 on the front bumper.
  15. some car, some pricetag! like the engine bay, the heat wrap on the exhaust is that really needed so far down? love the wheels, I'd do the mod to the e-brake/hand-brake for sure! ...why pay 250k for it.... not sure .... like the wheels too... what are they?
  16. Not if the image Alex posted up is correct (which it is). Slots should be aiming forwards, yours clearly aren't. Also, I can't even see any slots on your LHS rear, although that might be the camera angle. Yes, and they're things of beauty, and you've precious little hope of getting them for Friday unless you want to pay Adam silly money for next-day FedEx delivery or similar. Why Friday? Can you not put this all off until you've got everything together and can do it properly? put of racing??! guess thats whats on the cards here never!
  17. Check the air mass meter and clean if needed mine was completely BLACK. Does it only happen when it's raining? Mine it didnt happen to during rain. Could be some electric 'misshap' Afraid I cannot help you more there. (maybe take it to another tech?) A/
  18. Or not if you want performance Off the shelf exhausts are often designed and tested with a certain car to give the correct flow etc... no custom exhaust place does / is able to do that. Thats not what my current tuner said, enough flow through the exhaust on mine (dyno proven...so) Of the shelf exhausts are made to make € and sound not just HP... ?
  19. hmmm dont think so to be honest, have had nothing wrong with my abs but I've got that stuff happen to me a couple of times. (2-3) Thought it might have had something to do with the current map I was running/confusing the ecu. What mods are you running? Have you done a clean of the air mass meter? Mine gets a bit dirty from some of the return oil coming back into the intake, could be that cutting of the petrol problem? Tell me some background of the car? A>
  20. where did you get the petrolium >:? Dont worry, reset the ecu and press the TCS button and off you go
  21. the ARC looks like the option to go for, uprated org design. As I said hope to have some info on this (fingers crossed) later on. A.
  22. ah sake... you might just have had brake dust f*cked the seals. Where they cleaned or checked at all before you fitted the rotors/pads? The same thing happened on my rear brakes (on the bike) totally f*ecked. You can recond these though with a new set of seals and some work IF you got money to burn get something else
  23. maybe its an SLD on a uk spec one? Hopefully getting some good news from either of my two sources!
