  1. I think Pie standards have increased drastically over the last 10 years, apart from the good (or bad) old Frey Bentos pie which seems to remain the same (speaking of which, they are on offer for £1 a pie down Netto). I know ive been very impressed with the Tesco pies of late. I just wish there was more selection, they seem to all have the established "favourites" like steak and onion, chicken and veg etc.. Would be nice to see more pigeon or rabbit pies. Luckily I make my own game pies, but sometimes you want that convenience of opening a packet and bunging it in the oven when your late home from work. Can you write a blog on the waitrose chicken pie. I hear it is the pie of kings. hmmm.. ive just had had a tesco deep filled chicken pie and im not too impressed - ive updated the blog with my review. There is a waitrose down the road from me, but I dread to think how much their pies cost.... but I think i`ll have worked my way through all the tesco pies by the end of the month, so may have to move onto waitrose!!! I'm pretty sure we could club in £1 each to help you in your review. Lol. I would do it but I'm not a pie connoisseur.
  2. Just to add to the list of which I mostyl agree with: 1. Gritters (when in front of me) 2. speed cameras if the catch me being naughty 3. police if they catch me being naughty 4. potholes 5. people that can see a lane is closed well in advance but shoot up the outside even though the traffic is already well backed up 6. zed drivers who drive practically the same car as me but pay half the amount in tax

  4. Are you starting a Scottish zed website and that's going to be the logo?
  5. He's getting a Scotland flag with a black z on his roof and tattooed on his arse!
  6. I vote keep it and work some overtime . I can't do overtime as a teacher mate or it'd be a no brainer! I only owe 4k to my bank loan for it then I'd only have tax and insurance to worry about. It would owe me nothing then so might just try and find the dosh to pay it off.
  7. If you are going to rip into me for spelling, don't use 'u' for 'you' and 'ur' for 'your'. You could also try using a full stop and a comma instead of a dash. My excuse is I have been out of school for 7 weeks and typed this on an iPad. Mark out my mistakes and I'll fix them. Thanks for the input guys. I wouldn't let it go for £10k and would even be reluctant at 12k. I guess I just needed some third parties to confirm what I already knew.
  8. Oooooooooft I bet your not missing the zed a bit!
  9. Swap the money out for chocolate coins Hahaha - or as he has an infant mentality offer to swap a big handful of coins for some of his banknotes mwhahahaha
  10. That's a really pain in the backside mate - feel for your guys! You might want to reword the killing spree thing or they will be cancelling your visa too .
  11. I'll put first dibs on the springs incase I decide to keep the z. Thanks
  12. This kind of colour. What colour is it out of interest mate?
  13. This was a colour we talked about before I bought my brides. It's a very dusky grey - looks like the colour of the lambo in batman. All I can say is you made an excellent job - it looked the absolute mutts nuts! lovely.
  14. Don't know how I missed this thread - looking very tidy mate! I don't think any many will of us will reach the clean extremes that Shires engine bay reached but you have made a cracking job! Well done
  15. As someone who has had thoughts of selling up after over 3 years of ownership, I can confirm it is definately a buyers market. Vik is right - you were right to walk away. Do this as many times as you need too un til you get the one that is right for you. Its hard to walk away sometimes when you know you have the money there as excitement can take over you but it will be worth the wait when the right one comes along!
  16. ...the idea has come into my head a couple of times over the last few months. I think it would pain me to let it go but with my a house purchase becoming an ever nearer reality I feel like it might be the sensible thing to do. The main thing holding me back is the amount of money I poured into her (i orignally used the word 'invested', but this word doesn't tend to go hand in hand with modding). I guess why I am writing this thread is to get an idea of how much she would sell for. I know its only worth what people are willing to pay but seeing a lower spec zed on here of the same age, I would hope mine would fetch a higher sum. I understand that putting her back to stock and selling all the aftermarket bits will probably work out in my favour but I don't know if I have a strong enough heart to do that ! No vultures either please. ! THE BASICS: My 350z is a 2006 (56 plate - Dec registered) so it is the 296 facelift edition. She has only 36k miles on the clock and is a UK GT Spec model. 17. The boy has good taste! Are you his favourite uncle? Lol
  18. Are you able to make the 350z amuse diffuser in carbon out of interest?
  19. Lets not forget: Herbie Knight rider Red mist from kick ass
  20. It's not a fire breathing sportscar but... ...as a runabout, on price alone, this seems far more feasible than the leaf or other electric cars on the Market. First I have read of it but if you still got the government grant for this model I'd be tempted. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... print.html
  21. On a lighter note, what chance have you got!
