Googled the name of 'teacher' and getting mixed reports of their role at school. Clarity will come eventually I am sure. I have to agree with you about footballers as role models Geoff - shame to tar them all with the same brush but it's hard to filter the decent and honest ones these days. I always thought giggs was a good example - durr to me. Just heard the sentencing for one lad - one day in prison but as he was in custody he had already served it - away he goes!

Can I stress they have reported HIM, not HER, to be a primary school worker - not a teacher. At least I hope not - I am a primary teacher and would feel sick to think people like this are role models for children. If he does work in a school then he should be sacked whether he is directly teaching or not. All staff come into contact with children in schools and have a responsibility to act positively - somehow I think his acts of rioting don't meet this criteria!

RRL has nearly doubled in value since Fridays crash. Wish id bought some at 8p now, but you just never know when the low point is. At the risk of opening another can of worms, I think the problem with any Capital Punishment in Brittan, is that we are governed by European Law on that one, so to reinstate we would have to depart the European Union, which would suit me personally if we could re-open the trade with the Common Wealth Countries we scattered in the 70's Doubtful though You're right - lots of the rights come from EU. For example, European rights of the child. We can exit the EU and review our own laws or act like the French and only implement the EU laws knthe way we like as the French do. They give the big finger up frequently to EU statute and nothing happens
