Hi Craig, Good choice, GTR looks awesome! I didn't find it expensive at all for maintaining such a weapon of a car, close to 700bhp on stage 4, budget about £1000 / year for servicing. Pads and discs should last you 2-3 years, depending how you drive it and how much you drive it Enjoy the car and respect its capabilities until you get used to it, it's a serious weapon Thanks for the advice Adrian. Good to hear first hand from somebody who has been through it with the car. Loving every minute diving it just now. It has alcon discs and MPSS tyres which are all in good order. Also has a full Miltek which is not too over the top. :-)

Being able to afford to buy a GT-R is easy. The hard part is being able to afford to keep it You're right Strudel - they are expensive to keep but I bought it outright so hoping the keeping it part is made slightly easier for that reason. :-/

Hey Buddy. I toyed with the idea of getting an exige s2 when I sold the 350z but I've always wanted a GTR so I saved hard and had nothing noteworthy in the meanwhile.

Hey Guys, As some of the long standing members know, I sold my 350z a few years back. Here she is: While I haven't posted as actively in these years, I have still been checking in fairly often but now I have a new car, I hope to post a little more again. A big thanks to Alex for his words of advice before I plunged in. I'll spare all the details for a later post but here is my new brief - she is a Litchfield Stage 4 GT-R. Absolutely buzzing!

So many people had written scathing reviews on twitter before the opening credits had finished. These people don't want it to be a success because, for reasons beyond my comprehension, they love Clarkson. I think as Evans settles into the role, he will make it his own. I actually enjoyed MLB's segment on the Ariel Nomad and as for Sabine - get her on moving forward - the thinking man's crumpet! I haven't seen Extra Gear yet but I have heard it was pretty good - anyone watched yet?

When I had my zed I used to have a rough idle which was solved by keeping my A/C on. It raised the revs to a stable idle and made pulling away much smoother! I'm not sure if this would help you or not?

All purple would of looked good imo.
