  1. That is AWESOME! I keep looking to see if anyone makes kits to actually build these things. Nobody seems to make anything decent looking. I'd make it just to have. Think it would be a great wee winter project.
  2. Oh well, Chris guided you to the right place. Nice meet coming up in a couple of weeks (if you aren't at TITP) in Aberdeen area.
  3. Was that Ellis? I seem to remember him telling me about that. I use V power most of the time. Occasionally use 95 if I'm caught short and in the back of beyond.
  4. Follow Ekonas advice. The pressurs don't change with size variation. Try 35psi and adjust to suit your driving and the tyre feel.
  5. The guide was very useful. If you want a hand picking things up just let me know!
  6. Liquid yellow will work!
  7. I'm a lambswool mitt kind of guy. Never used a Zymol sponge so can't comment on it. I wouldn't mind getting some ONR and a good sponge though and giving it a go though.
  8. I have no idea what he thought moderators and admin on this forum were for..... I wasn't to babysit him and defend his actions that's for sure!
  9. Black hole is the bomb! Jasons black Zed doing what I suggested above. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=35275 A couple of pics including my Dads (now sold) mega swirly Rangie. He kept it for a good 8 month longer than he was going to due to me making it look good. This was mostly down to black hole if I'm honest! viewtopic.php?f=22&t=26114
  10. You'd maybe benefit from a third bucket then!
  11. What about performance diesels? You have the Leon there but nothing else. To be honest for 25k p/a I'd be looking at comfort - especially for you. What about an E39 530d or a 330d? The latter could be a coupe too for a sporty look. Covering those miles I'd be looking at a comfy turbo derv and you can always get it mapped for better economy and more power!
  12. Step back. Have a think if it's worth it. Sure, it's been done on purposr and you are 99% sure who did it...... What could you gain from doing something to the guy? Nothing really part from a conviction or two. What could you lose from doing something to the guy? A hell of a lot I bet. I have had cars damaged in the past and karma has always caught up with the offenders.
  13. We can't wait that long!
  14. Ok, Here is what I'd use. I use it on my own car and have used it on a number of dark / black cars wash clay polish then Poorboys black hole glaze. This is a glaze with fillers. It fills small swirls etc and really adds to the finish then an absolute must. Leaves the car looking dripping wet. I cannot express how much I like this product! It's a sealant. Then wax. You're car will be looking better than showroom fresh!
  15. What sort of budget you got Chris? Probably doesn't help in the slightest.... http://www.fuel-economy.co.uk/stats.shtml
  16. Hello Panda!
  17. Mmmmm Nismo!
  18. Shame it's so far away or I might well of had this!
  19. tardis is a good shout!
  20. If clay doesn't take it off then nothing will bar a sanding disc. I'd try again! This time do it right!
  21. A clay bar and suitable lube would be my recommendation.
  22. Did my name swapping my forename and surname Claudio Stewinho
  23. Unless your new work happens to a bodyshop I think I'd leave it to the pros. A scrape looks better than a shoddy repair in my opinion.
  24. Badum tisch!
